GUANTANAMO
CIA officials were shocked by this and contacted other security agencies in the United States and without delay officers from the FBI arrived at Orlando, Florida to find out more about exactly what happened on August 3, 2001. which the young man was denied entry to the United States.
After the FBI arrived at the airport they asked to speak to immigration officers who were present on August 3 and also asked to be provided with videotapes of airport security cameras.
After watching the videotapes, the FBI discovered something far grander. Outside, security cameras recorded a Mohamed Atta-owned car parked outside the airport.
For the uninitiated, Mohammed Atta was the main hijacker of the hijackers who flew to the WTC floors on September 11, 2001. He also flew one of the hijacked planes.
So the FBI learned that Mohammed Atta arrived at the airport the same day but unfortunately the immigration officials barred young man from entering the United States.
This meant that if the young man was not suspected by immigration officials then he should have been one of the participants who hijacked and blew up the WTC buildings on September 11, 2001.
The information shocked the FBI and promptly informed the CIA officers of a secret prison in Poland where the young man was being held, and after receiving the information they immediately contacted CIA Langley, Virginia, USA.
As soon as the information reached the CIA Headquarters, CIA Director Mr. Leon Panetta ordered the boy to be placed in a 'safe place' for further 'interviews'.
The flight was arranged and the journey to Guantanamo Bay prison began.
The real name of this young man is Mohammed al-Qahtani he was 21 years old and currently 36 years old and is a prisoner number 63 (ISN 10063) in Guantanamo Bay prison.
INSIDE GUANTANAMO: MORE 'INTERVIEWS'
After the young al-qahtani was brought to Guantanamo Bay where he was placed in a cello in a building called Camp Delta 'further' interviews' continued.
Despite all the things that the security forces found out about him but the young man continued to hold his position that he was hunting in the mountains of Torah Bora.
It got to the point where the then Secretary General of the then vice president Mr. David Addington along with palace adviser Mr. Alberto Gonzales arrived in person at the Camp Delta building inside Guantanamo Bay specifically to talk to al-Qatani young man to explain the truth but the young man insisted he was a hunter.
Then US Secretary of Defense approved 'Enhanced Interrogation Techniques' to be used to interview the young man.
These improved techniques included for example torturing a prisoner by suffocating suffocating breath by pouring water (waterboarding), stress positions, depriving him of sleep n.k.
This decision came as a shock to human rights activists in later years.
After given permission to use 'improved techniques' it is said that young al-Qahtani was one of the Guantanamo detainees who broke records for the longest interrogation of 'improved techniques'. It is said that young al-Qahtani was interrogated for 48 days in a row!
