INSIDE WAZIRISTAN HAVELI
The spies, who were Pakistani nationals working for the CIA, began questioning the neighbors and managed to obtain enough information.
First the neighbors told them that the palace was owned by someone they knew as Arshad Khan (Abu Ahmed al-Kuwait) who lived with his brother and their families.
Neighbors reported that Arshad had informed them that he was in charge of their family's hotel business in Dubai. Neighbors also told them that Arshad (al-Kuwait) was a 'man of the people' and was attending almost every funerals on their street.
They were also told that despite their financial capacity, he often buys his household necessities on the street and often goes out with his children to buy breads at the bakery on the street.
Neighbors also told them that they used to call the palace Waziristan Haveli (Waziristan Mansion) because they believed that the residents of the palace were from Waziristan.
After the CIA received the information from spies who infiltrated the streets, they decided to expand the scope by involving the US Special Initiative under the Ministry of Defense (DOD) in charge of collecting information and geographical intelligence (National Geospatial-Inttelligence Agency (NGA) to let them know one after the other.
By using satellite imagery and collecting images using a self-propelled aircraft (drone) NGA received all the necessary information about the building to present to the CIA.
Their report stated that the Waziristan Haveli building is located about a mile and a half from the Pakistani military training center Abbottabad. On the street where the palace was located was the residence of many Pakistani military retirees.
The mansion took up a much larger area than other neighboring houses as the mansion was built on an area of land approximately 3,500 square meters.
The building was surrounded by a 12-foot-long wall but when you enter it you encounter an empty open area and then you find another 18-foot-tall wall.
The palace was also three Floor high and on the third floor balcony had its 7-foot-high protective wall. There were also security cameras in each corner of the palace.
In addition, the NGA discovered that inside the palace there was a large vegetable garden, there were also more than 100 chickens, rabbits and one cow. This building also had a small windows and few that if you looked at it quickly you would think it had no windows at all.
The US Geological Survey (NGA) also managed to collect information from the residents of the palace where they found out that the palace had about 22 residents living in it, most of them children. Also they realized that there were about natives who never left the palace.
After the NGA submitted their report to the CIA about their findings regarding the palace, CIA Director General Mr. Leon Panetta was further convinced that the palace was guarding Al Qaeda's most prominent leader and that it was probably Bin Laden himself living there.
He then ordered that a final confirmation be made to verify what they suspects
