Chapter 4: Siblings.
"Hey!" shouted Arthur as he was running towards both of the guards.
There were 2 guards. One was wearing a vest with iron gloves around his fist, while the other was wearing heavy steal armors. It seems like they were adventurers or magicians as we call them. Both of them were young like in their 20s.
Both of them looked at Arthur. He was running towards them while swinging a stick in the air.
Arthur jumped towards them with his stick above his head. But the magician was grabbing the little child dodged him and grabbed him by his neck.
"Argh!" screamed Arthur in pain.
Seeing Arthur's pain, both the magicians laughed.
"Haha look at this dumb brat jumping at us alone." said the magician with iron armors.
"Doesn't he know that we are Silver level magician? How stupid." said the magician with the vest while grabbing Arthur by his neck.
The crowd was murmuring.
"I see. Silver level, is it?" said Ken while standing behind them with his arms crossed.
Both the magician looked behind.
As they saw Ken both of them started sweating.
"Si... Sir Head Magician. This brat just attacked us out of nowhere. We were just teaching him a lesson!" said the magician with the vest.
"Let the 2nd prince go you idiots!" yelled someone from the crowd.
"2nd? 2nd prince?!" said both the magician in sync.
They put Arthur on the ground carefully.
They bowed their head to the ground in front of Ken and Arthur.
"We are really sorry Sir-Head Magician and Lord 2nd!" said both of them in a loud tone. Sweats started to drop down their forehead.
"It's okay. Get up." said Arthur.
"Thank you!" said both of them and rushed away.
One of the men from the crowd yelled, "You are too kind, Lord 2nd."
Arthur laughed while scratching his head, "Haha."
Arthur gave the girl on the ground a hand.
The girl accepted. She grabbed Arthur's hand and stood up.
"Thank you!" said the girl with a smile.
"No problem." said Arthur.
All three of them sat down beside the large fountain on the middle of the 4 intersection. They were talking to each other.
"So, what's your name?" said Arthur.
"My name is Eris Hart." said the girl.
"Eris. Thats a really cute name." said Ken.
"Haha. Thanks." said Eris.
She added, "So, what's your name, Lord-2nd and Sir Head Magician?"
"My name's Arthur Alpin. And this is Ken Shiro."
"Nice to meet you both! And again, thanks for saving me!" Eris stood up to show her gratitude by bowing.
"It's fine it's fine." said Ken.
"Can I be your friend Arthur?" said Eris.
"Yeah sure! Then you will be my first ever friend!" said Arthur as he jumped.
Both of them laughed. Watching them laughing Ken smiled.

After a few days. Arthur was sitting on his room by the window. He was singing to himself and playing with a black dragon toy on his hands.
Suddenly a loud bang came from the doorway. The door was opened with a kick. A boy who looked like Arthur but was older came into the room. A girl behind him also came.
The boy had short black hair which was split at the middle of his head. He had black sharp eyes. He also looked a lot like Arthur. His name was Jereth Alpin. He was Arthur's older brother. He was only 5 years older than Arthur so he was 8 years old. He was wearing a very expensive blue dress with white loafers.
The girl behind him had long black hairs with the tip brown which reached her chest. She also had black sharp eyes. Her name was Luna Alpin. She was the 1st princess and elder sister of Arthur and the younger sister of Jereth. She was 5 years old. She was wearing a long purple dress with pink lines.
Jereth came close to Arthur. He then grabbed Arthur's toy and stepped on it. The toy broke into pieces.
"No!" screamed Arthur after seeing his favorite toy being destroyed.
Arthur looked up to Jereth with tears in his eyes and asked, "Why?"
Jereth, without saying anything kicked Arthur's face.
Arthur tumbled backwards hitting his back on the ground.
Arthur's face became red and blood started to flow out of his nostrils. Arthur tried to block the blood flow using his hands.
"You stupid brother." said Jereth.
Jereth walked up to the bleeding Arthur and kicked him on the stomach.
"Argh!" screamed Arthur in pain.
Arthur held his stomach with his left hand and his nose with his right.
Luna, who was on the sideline watching the incident happening, said nothing. She watched as her little brother getting beaten.
Jereth kept on kicking Arthur.
Arthur was blocking his head from Jereth's harmful kick.
Arthur became unconscious because of all the beating. After making Arthur unconscious, Jereth and Luna started walking towards the door. After Jereth left the room, Luna stopped near the door. She turned her head and looked at Arthur and muttered, "Pathetic."
Jereth called her, "Hey Luna, you gonna come?"
Luna started walking again and left Arthur alone in the room unconscious.
After 10 minutes, Ken came inside the room. He saw Arthur lying on the floor.
"Why are you on the floor?" said Ken while going to him.
He checked on Arthur, he saw bruises on his face and body. He also saw that Arthur was unconscious.
"What!" said Ken.
Ken carried Arthur in his hands.
"Those siblings... I can't believe that they came from sister." muttered Ken.
Ken took Arthur to another room. It was Clara's room.
Ken took Arthur to Clara who was sitting on her bed fixing her hair, saw Arthur and stood up.
"What happened to Lord-Arthur?!?" asked Clara while looking at Ken.
"It was them." said Ken.
"What! Lay him on the bed. I will caste healing magic." said Clara while fixing her bed.
Ken laid Arthur on the bed, Clara came up to Arthur and chanted, "Oh almighty lord. May the person in front of me get another chance. Heal."
Clara's hand started to glow a green color. Arthur's bruise started to slowly fade away thanks to Clara's healing powers.
Soon Arthur regained conscious.
"Zzzz." snoring noise came as Arthur fell asleep.
"He is okay now. He just needs some rest." said Clara while patting Arthur's head.
Ken nodded.

After a few days. Arthur recovered. Although he still has some injuries because of the incident. Arthur went outside the castle. He was being followed by a men. It was Ken. Even though Arthur said that he can go alone, Ken was worried which is why he followed Arthur.
Arthur then went to the same fountain where he first met Eris. Sitting beside the fountain was Eris. Arthur ran up to her while waving his right hand in the air and calling her.
"Eris!"
Eris looked at the direction where Arthur was coming from. Her face brightened up as she saw Arthur and waved back.
"Arthur!" Expressed Eris.
Arthur sat beside Eris. Ken was sitting a bit far away giving them space.
"How are you?" asked Arthur with a bright smile on his face.
"Good! What about you?" replied Eris.
"I'm all good."
As they were chatting, Eris asked a question.
"Hey Arthur, what is your dream?"
"Dream?" said Arthur while tilting his head.
"Like what do you want to become when you grow up?"
"Hmm... I don't really know." said Arthur while thinking.
"I guess you could say I want to become like Brother Ken." also said Arthur after thinking for a while.
"So you want to be the Head Magician?"
"Yeah!" said Arthur while nodding really quick showing his excitement.
Hearing Arthur's dream. Ken gave of a smile.
"What about you Eris?"
"Me? I want to be a magician! That way I can protect my loved ones." said Eris with a smile.
"Oh! Will you also protect me?" asked Arthur.
"Like I said, I will protect my loved ones." said Eris.
Hearing Eris, Arthur's cheeks turned bright red. He quickly covered his mouth.
Eris noticed Arthur's sudden action. She also saw Arthur's cheeks being red.
"Why is your face red? Do you have a cold?" asked Eris.
"No. It's nothing. I'm fine." said Arthur while looking the opposite direction of Eris.
Arthur was gazing around the area to find something to change the topic. He finally saw a shop with many jeweleries.
Arthur pointed at that shop's direction.
"Let's... Let's go there, shall we?" said Arthur.
"Yeah sure!" smiled Eris.
Both of them stood up and went to the shop.
"Hello Lord-2nd." greeted the shop keeper.
"Hello mister." Arthur greeted back.
"Would you like to buy some jewelry for your cute girlfriend over there?" said the shopkeeper with a smirk.
"She... She is not my girlfriend!" said Arthur in a panic with a red face.
"Haha! Just kidding!" laughed the shopkeeper.
The shopkeeper showed some jewelry to Arthur and Eris.
After 10 minutes of checking the jewelry. Arthur brought a necklace. The necklace had beautiful sky-blue pearl. He then gave it to Eris.
"Why don't you put it on my neck?" said Eris.
"Wha... What." said Arthur.
"Just do what she says." said the shopkeeper.
Arthur took the necklace. He went behind Eris and tied it on her neck.
After another 10 minutes. They parted ways.
Arthur was walking towards the castle. He then saw Ken. He ran towards Ken.
"Brother Ken!" said Arthur.
"Hello Arthur." greeted Ken.
"Shall we go home now?" said Ken.
Arthur nodded in a smile.
"Today was the best day." said Arthur while walking funnily with Ken.
Ken smiled while looking at Arthur.
While they were walking. Two men hooded in black was looking at them from far away.
One of them had a scar under his left eye. While another had a tattoo of a cross on his left arm.
"So, he is the target?" said the men with scar.
"Yeah. If we can kidnap him, we can get a huge ransom from the royal family." said the men with tattoos.
"Yeah. But the magician maybe a pain in the a*s."
"It's okay. I have a plan."
Both of them started walking as they fade away in a gust of wind...
