Familiar strangers
Chapter 19
My room was massive with a king sized bed it had furnitures and a mini kitchen in it I quickly unpacked my things I brought out my phone and dialled Shyla's number we talked for a while, I told her I was in Jade estate she couldn't believe it. My mum was also amazed , with all the money my dad had he couldn't get an apartment in Jade estate no matter how many times he tried.... Shyla and I talked for a while then said goodbye I hung up and threw myself on the bed I don't think I've seen a bed this big before I thought to myself
. Just then I heard a knock on the door I stood up and walked to the door I opened it. A petite lady was standing in front of the door she smiled at me and said " dinner is served please follow me" I nodded and followed her.... the dinner table was massive everything looked like it belonged to a royal family. I drew a seat and sat.
I was the only one seated, on the dinner table delicacies were arranged for my consumption I picked up a knife and fork and help my self to the most common one the food was so good I was really enjoying it, " enjoying the food?" Someone spoke behind me I turned around it was him, my new boss I swallowed the food in my mouth and nodded my head " I'm glad you like it" he said as he sat down opposite me I kept on eating without looking up.
