Familiar Strangers
Chapter 25
I opened my eyes gradually.... I blinked them, I was trying to make out the faces that were looking at me. everything was becoming clear...." Mom"? I whispered " where am "? I tried to stand up then I realized I was in a hospital bed. I held on to my head, it was really hurting, " mum, what happened"? . The last thing I remembered was talking with the boss. I was confused
I needed an explanation...." Mom, what happened to me? Why am I in the hospital"? ' you passed out honey" she said I tried to remember but my head ached I winced In pain " don't stress yourself" my mom said " the doctor said you need your rest" I nodded and lay down.
When I was much calmer my mum told me what happened, she said the boss had contacted her and told her I was in the hospital, so she rushed down to see me.
" Where's Shyla?" I asked " she's in the doctor's office with Mr. Drey
Oh.. so that's what the boss is called I thought to myself. The doctor Soon came in holding some papers in his hand, Mr. Drey followed and then Shyla...." Oh " Ari"
You're awake" she ran to my side and gave me a hug, I returned it " how long was I unconscious"? I asked Shyla turned to the doctor.
I was later examined by the doctor and it was said that I was suffering from a memory loss.... apparently the images I saw was an Incident from the past. The doctor said it was a very painful incident that my brain couldn't handle so it led to memory loss.
