Familiar Strangers
Chapter 26
The doctor said something triggered my memory that was why I passed out, I'm still not able to handle it even though it was just fragments of the incident.... the doctor wanted to know exactly what happened so did I. I really wanted to know what was happening to me, or what happened to me... I turned to my mom. She must have an idea of what happened.
I was discharged, I went home with my mom and Shyla Mr. Drey was kind enough to extend my stay with them, instead of three days he said I could stay for a week so I could rest properly I was so thankful to him. I spent my one week mostly resting....my mom and Shyla didn't allow me do anything, all I did was wake up, eat, sleep, wake up again eat and sleep.
I was exhausted. One morning I decided to do some chores, after breakfast I went to the kitchen to do the dishes as I was about doing so....my mom rushed in " what are you doing?" My mom said as she rushed and collected the dishes from me. " Mom it's just a harmless chore" I said frustratedly. " I can't allow you do any chores in this house" my mom said " but why" I said almost In tears " you need to rest" " mom I've rested enough" I answered
My mom took me away from the kitchen, she brought me to the sitting room and made me sit.... I exhaled as I put my hands up " you won mom, I give up" I shook my head.
