I wanted to let them have a normal happy human life. "I'll give you six days, I am restoring all of your memories. Spend some time with your boyfriend he hurt the most," she said. And I was back in the restaurant just like that. I remembered everything and I just couldn't believe how brazen and ungrateful I was. I sat there just thinking about everything until Ahmya and the rest showed up.
I only had six days and then I would let them go. I kissed Ahmya as soon as I saw him. "I'm sorry. I really really am sorry," I said and the hugged him. "I was thinking about my past lives, you see I never loved any of those people, really. I just felt in need for someone's love to fix the hole in my heart but it could never be fixed. Because the person who made the hole should fix it himself," I said.
"You met the god of misery, didn't you?" Ahmya said. I wiped my tears and forced a smile. "Actually I met the goddess," I said. "She told you that?" Touma asked. "It's okay I didn't do anything stupid after finding out," I lied. They didn't need to know about it. "So let's just go back to how we were, please," I said.
"Let's do that then, I have to talk to you anyway" Ahmya said. We sat down and Touma made the food and drinks appear. I was literally just trying to drink in peace when Ahmya said, "You really had to get married five times? You do realize you have to love someone to do that, right?" He made me chock and even after I was better I didn't stop coughing so that I didn't have to reply.
Ahmya smirked then said, "Are you going to cough all day? I want to spend all day with you and all night too." That literally made me chock again. "You're so cute," he said then stared at me in the most uncomfortable manner. The others seemed uncomfortable and one by one made excuses and left. "Do you remember the first day we met?" Ahmya asked when it was just the two of us left.
"Of course, when I was upset," I said. "You're always upset," he said. His smile was adorable we had dated for more than a hundred human years and I was still falling for him everyday? "Why won't you say anything? Do you feel uncomfortable around me?" he asked and moved closer and closer towards me. I could tell I was blushing and I wished I could hide that fact. "Your beautiful really really beautiful," he said holding my face gently.
"I wanted to tell you that as a human you've always been so insecure about that for no reason you look absolutely perfect," he said. "I know that now it's just because I wasn't looking in the mirror otherwise I would've been on top of the world now," I said. "We had to make sure you didn't look in the mirror because you would remember everything if you did," he said.
"What? I looked my reflection recently but didn't remember anything," I said. "Were you already in form of the water goddess?" he asked. "Yeah," I said. "The same thing would have happened if you looked before," he said. "I'm sorry, really I am," I said. "For what? Your past boyfriends?" he asked. I nodded. "It's okay, they weren't even a fraction as good looking as me," he said.
That was impossible, I know he cared about it. It must've hurt. "I'm dying soon," I said. "What?" he asked. "I have brain cancer," I said. "Why didn't you tell anyone!" he shouted. "So, after I die what will happen?" I asked. "You will be reincarnated," he said. "I meant what will happen to you guys," I said. "We will also become human," he lied. I couldn't believe he was lying to my face.
"Liar," I mumbled to myself. "How much did you talk about with the goddess of misery?" he asked me suddenly and he looked serious.
