I looked away from his eyes and said. "Nothing much," I replied. He just kept silent and it scared me, had he found something out? "You know," he said. I nodded. "She must've made it sound like we did all that for you but-" he said but I put my finger on his lips to stop him from saying more. I already knew they did it for me he was just trying to make me feel better. I couldn't imagine a future without them so I would just watch them, that was probably how they felt too when they were making that decision.
"Are you going to do the same?" he asked. What the freak was he reading my mind. "No way!" I lied. "Don't do it. It would make the past six years useless," he said his tone was soft, calm and cold. "You mean the past six lives of mine?" I asked. "Yeah. One human lifetime is just one year for a god," he explained.
"I'm going home," I said and got up. He grabbed my hand and said, "Don't go." "Why," I asked. Then all of a sudden he stood up as if he was electrified. He was still holding my hand. "Why did you do that? Why did you have to do that?" he asked. 'I am sorry' that's what I wanted to say but I couldn't.
I looked at him coldy and shook off his hand. Then I teleported away. I felt stupid, I had six days but then I had to ruin them. I had to get this over and done with as soon as possible. I went back to the goddess of misery.
