Emily's POV
I nod even though he doesn't see me as his back is turned. After long seconds of silence, I finally ask calmly: "Why did you bring me here, Nathan?"
His footsteps stop abruptly. He turns slowly and walks up to me stopping right in front of me allowing me to see every faction of his face in detail.
"You said you wanted to know who you lived with, well here I am. You see I'm more than women or prefabricated lies" He murmurs with a neutral expression, emphasizing each of his words with his tone of voice that I found very sensual: "This is my way of thanking you, for everything Emily."
A small nervous chuckle then escapes from between my lips. I couldn't deal with these kinds of cheesy moments, they made me too tense.
"For agreeing to be your fake girlfriend?" I question mockingly but he shakes his head.
