Jeremy received an anonymous text message to someone he dearly cherished for a long time. He turned to the text, grinning, and swivel his chair right away. Jeremy stood up after a while, holding his phone close to his lips, and tut.
Jeremy looked out of the skyscrapers, and admired the Calvorite he's been leading.
He was getting a lot of praises for organizing orders to Calvorite, and Jeremy didn't receive a single insult in his leadership. A lot of candidates for the head sector wanted to come up and topple him over, but he's too strong to stand up from his throne.
Jeremy wouldn't give up his position for the mere respect of giving chances to others with no reason. He's tasked here because Tina has given him the position, and not because he only wanted it.
Competency isn't measured with the length of the service he's in.
Jeremy received a call once again. He slid the answer button, and put it in his ear.
"Hey, you're coming, right?" Jeremy wouldn't even hesitate to have a love affair with the highest person in the country.
He captivated the heart of their president, and she's wrapped around his finger. Jeremy doesn't care as long as he met the needs of his family, giving the desires of everything his children would ask for.
"Open the back door for me. We can't afford to get caught, right?" Tina has been persistent about having a secret relationship with him. Jeremy, who couldn't even resist the temptation, gave in right away, without even thinking of it twice. As long as his wife doesn't know, the world will still be at peace.
Besides, no one can mess around the president.
Jeremy turned to the door, assuring, "I do. Whenever you texted me to open the back door, I order it right away, so that you could come here with ease. Now, lock the door after you enter, so that everyone wouldn't be suspicious."
They only see thrice a month. The staff outside thought they're dealing with business, but no one knew what's happening behind closed doors. Jeremy doesn't even blabber anything, because, as they say, it's confidential.
No one should know what will happen as long as they keep their mouths shut.
One order of Yunis and everyone would dissipate tomorrow. They won't even be able to see the moon if someone caught them red-handed.
"Okay, I'll hang up. Wait for me, dear honeysuckle."
What's seductive about her was her sweet voice. Even though she has a husband and him with a wife, they'd be able to make out behind, at the workplace, while signing papers. Yunis had been the only woman who can understand him the most.
Who else would turn down a powerful woman who dominated the land of Idris? No one would be able to do that.
Jeremy slipped in his cell phone inside a drawer, turned off his computer, and sat down in his chair, waiting for the door to open. He slacked off for a while, thinking of Leo and the Cassanos.
They reported about a runaway named Theo Rilop from the Telamur, and that specific person knew them, even their names. Leo wouldn't barge inside the door with no reason. He'd been threatened by no other than a Telamur citizen of finding out about his identity.
Sam must be playing well on the other side. He must have spread gossips about his spies. It wasn't good at all if he continued to do that. Idris has been clean of any uprisings for the past years due to Yunis' restricting rules, and it has been under her control.
It was still organized after she taken a seat. Nothing can be a good leader but her.
As Jeremy thought deeply, someone knocked on the door. His heart had awoken right away as he stood up from the chair, approaching it right away, and opened it. Yunis was holding a small purse, wearing a mini-dress, fitted right on her curves, showing off her largest mountains.
Jeremy got in awe of her body. No one can deny she still looked like a teenager to the way she dressed. Tina wore off her sunglasses, and turned to the staff, ordering, "I'm okay right here. You can all go back to work. It's the last hour. Make sure you do well today."
Jeremy smiled, reassuring the staff that the president is safe with him.
As they walked away, Tina turned to him, and her gaze darkened. She walked in formally, greeting, "Good afternoon, Mr. Jeremy Tyran."
Jeremy closed the door, and greeted her back. Tina grinned at him, raising an eyebrow, and times like this were hard to deal at. Jeremy had to break off something in order for them to kiss each other, to hold onto each other, and for them to have a proper lovemaking.
"Do you have some time to spare to be with me, Mr. Jeremy Tyran?"
Tina tiptoed one of her foot, and batted her eyelashes. Jeremy whispered, turning her on, "We have to check the papers first, Tina."
The moment she said that, both of them goes across the next wall, where no surveillance cameras were present, and hugged each other. Before they even delved into the kiss, they disappeared right on a secret room Jeremy has been hiding all the time.
…
Exhaustion took over his body as Leo drove down the highway, speeding up, for him not to catch the red light. For a while, he thought the news of Telamur died down in billboard screen, but it's still ongoing.
They couldn't find the high-class profiles like Zella Albert and late Jaina Montenegro. Maybe the Telamur isn't working that well. Sam Grobes competence over Jeremy's isn't nearly comparable. He isn't paying attention to the prisoners and detainees the police station has. Even though they have Tempus Moneda, they still fail to track a lot of fugitives.
One thing Leo feared about was Zella's time chip.
Anytime now, she'd be able to see a faint light in her wrist, and that would be the end of it all. Leo talked to Etienne for a while, discussing the matters of the Tempus Moneda in her wrist, and how it can be activated when the Telamur found out what code they used.
Etienne believed there's no way it would happen sooner. With all the problems they faced on the other homeland, the investigation wouldn't be on progress right away.
"Telamur isn't as progressive as Calvorite. Sam Grobes is a lazy and slacking head sector. Before he even knew, his citizens wouldn't be able to stay at his land and would start an uprising in no time."
Leo believed his co-member. It wasn't wrong for them to be precise.
The Cassanos have the brains to think that well.
Right after Leo drove inside the mansion, a thought suddenly popped up inside his mind. Leo parked the sedan right on the side of the garden, and unbuckled his seatbelt right away. He saw Lavender, the main gardener.
Leo showed up right in time. She was closing the greenhouse before dinner time.
"Ms. Lavender, good evening," Leo bowed down his head.
"Oh, Mr. Luciano, what brought you here before dinner?"
Leo turned to the garden, and saw the blooming roses.
"It's time for the harvest, right? I want to pluck out roses personally," Leo uttered.
