Caroline and Kamira were about to face off each other, even though Kamira knows that Caroline is strong she doesn't actually know her extract peak in a fight so it was a problematic situation, on the other hand, Caroline was ready to engage at any time with full confidence
"What's the holdback Kamira? You said the next attack won't miss me" Caroline told her with a smirk
"I'm giving you one last chance to come back Caroline, I will not be so forgiving" Kamira said while she created star-like spheres around her, Caroline also got into a fighting position
"Whoa your famous Stars! I bet they can do massive damage, anyways, I said I won't let you punish me, so if you are ready, strike me"
Caroline said, in a flash, a beam came out of Kamira's star, Caroline swiftly dodged the attack, the attack traveled to a mountain in the distance creating a massive explosion
"Your attacks are something else!" Caroline complimented as she charged at Kamira
Caroline tried to punch Kamira but she used one of her stars to block the attack, Kamira used the element of space to push Caroline to the forest, Caroline was launched with a massive force at the nearby forest crashing at multiple trees on the way, Kamira then flew high to the sky
LYRID SHOWER
This was one of Kamira's special attacks, this attack was made up of repeating beams coming out of the stars she had, the attack quickly destroyed the forest
'I must have done a lot of damage to her' Kamira thought
"Can you teach me how to do that?"
Caroline asked her, she was floating behind her, in a flash, Kamira turned around and shot a beam once again but this time the attack landed, the explosion sent the 2 of them flying, but Kamira quickly recovered
"My turn!" Caroline announced, she then prepared an attack by channeling her energy into her hands, she created a small sun in her hands
"Ready for impact?" Caroline asked Kamira with a smile
Kamira then gathered all of her stars together and created a single massive star, she then used the star to launch a massive beam at Caroline, Caroline also launched her attack at Kamira, the 2 attacks ended up clashing with each other, Caroline's attack was slightly overpowering Kamira's but Kamira still had the advantage since her attack was something she could enforce while Caroline's attack wasn't an enforceable one, a huge explosion then occurred pushing Kamira and Caroline away once more
'Damn it, she is stronger than what I had imagined, but that was expected for someone that had mastered ALL OF THE ELEMENTS'
Kamira thought as she tried to recover from the blast, after the smoke the attack created Kamira could see Caroline quickly flying in her direction
"DAMN IT!"
Kamira shouted, she then quickly created a star but before she could shoot a beam Caroline struck her at the top of her head launching her down, before Kamira could hit the ground Caroline once again out-sped her and kicked her at her ribs, in result breaking them
'I was sure that I defended my ribs with mana so how did she break them so easily?' Kamira wondered, as she flew at a big tree, destroying it in the process
"You seem confused so I will explain. With the element of destruction I shattered your mana defense and strengthen my attack too, surprising right?" Caroline told Kamira, she seemed like she was enjoying it
"Even if you can use all the elements I will still win Caroline so don't struggle anymore" Kamira told her with an ominous smile
Blood was running down from her mouth, Kamira then created 10 stars, it was twice the number she had before, Kamira then started flying at Caroline while shooting numerous beams, the beams now could curve, Caroline also charged at Kamira, the fight turned to close combat with a mixture of long ranged attacks, the beams that didn't hit Caroline ended up destroying with a disastrous rate the forest
Meanwhile inside the UMP base
"Please teach me how to exit mana zones, I have to go and find Caroline!" Luck yelled at Risha and some other workers, but they refused to let Luck leave
"Luck you have to stay here until we identify what a black flame is, so please bare with us for a second then you can freely leave" Risha told him,
Luck was angry quite angry about that
"I DON'T CARE I JUST WANT TO LEAVE!"
Luck screamed releasing a great amount of mana, this mana ended up breaking his connection to the mana zone resulting in him breaking out of the mana zone
'I did it' Luck thought as he got up
'She probably ran to the city so I have to catch up as fast as I can!'
Luck thought as he began to run with mana enhancement, but while he was running he felt a powerful wave of mana passing by him
'Is this a mana zone?' He wondered
He then channeled his mana, and imagined what Caroline told him once "think of it as a part of your consciousness, to be more exact is like zoning out" so that was what he did, he tried zoning out and to his surprise, he entered the mana zone but when he entered he was surprised, the first sight he saw was a destroyed street surrounded by many burning trees
"What the hell happened here?"
This was Luck's first thought, but another thing that bothered him, even more, was Kamira and Caroline flying around attacking each other, Luck was frozen, he didn't know how to react, those 2 were way out of his reach in power and in influence, while standing there one of Kamira's attack slipped and was directed straight at Luck, it was very fast so Luck couldn't run away, but before the attack could land Caroline deflected it out of the way
"What are you doing here?" Caroline asked him
"I should be asking that to both of you, why are you 2 fighting?" Luck asked her
Kamira slowly flew in their direction, she still was ready to attack at any point
"Get away from her Luck! She is dangerous!" Kamira told Luck, her voice was weak from all the exhaustion from the fight
"What are you both saying? Have you lost your minds?" Luck told them, and they both remained silent
"Luck I can explain about before…" Caroline said but was interrupted by him
"I don't care, I know that it was something that didn't kill me and that's all the information I want, I simply want you 2 to calm down and talk things out" Luck said to calm them down
Kamira destroyed her stars and Caroline dropped her guard
"So about the black fire if you want to know it is a mixture of the element of celestial and destruction and it is a harmless fire that puts the mind into a state of calmness, do you understand why I don't plan to apologize now Kamira?" Caroline explained
Kamira was left speechless
"Caroline, you remember when Floga requested a rematch right?" Luck asked her with a serious look
"Yeah I do but what does it have to do with this?" Caroline asked confused
"You see I'm still angry about what happened before, You are the reason that my head got smashed by bears, you are also the reason I can't cook, the island also began to look at me with a look of judgment and my relationship with Floga has worsened, you have created enough problems to me for me to be angry but I didn't get angry one bit because I mistook you for someone else, someone I had banish for a long time, and I can't seem to shake this image of you out of my head so I want to fight you in order to break this illusion my mind has set"
Luck told her with a look of D E T E R M I N A T I O N
"If I fight you I will not hold back"
Caroline told him, she also seemed serious, Luck then charged at Caroline with confidence, he kicked Caroline in the head but she didn't flinch even a little, Luck then followed his attack with a mana-enforced punch but the punch didn't do any damage either, Caroline then kicked Luck, he was launched some meters away, Luck slowly got up and charged at Caroline once again but the same thing happened over and over and over again, at this point Luck was more damaged from his falls on the ground rather than the kicks, blood was flowing down from all over his body
"I won't stop until you disappear, Hope!!!"
Luck screamed, he then launched himself faster than before, Caroline was caught by surprise so she used a bit more force than intended, but what she hit was a clone of Luck
"Huh?"
Caroline wondered, for some reason, she couldn't feel Luck's presence anymore, Luck then appeared from the sky punching Caroline with a punch that was enhanced with all of his mana, Caroline was launched away from the power of the hit
"DIE ALREADY!!!"
Luck screamed at the top of his lungs, and he then passed out from exhaustion, Caroline quickly got up and was about to attack Luck but she then saw him on the ground and stopped
"It's over Caroline! He is out cold so please take him into the base"
Kamira told her she also broke the mana zone, Caroline gently picked up Luck and started walking in the base's direction but before she left Kamira told her something
"Sorry about today..."
"It's okay, it was nothing but a simple girls fight"
Caroline told her with a smile of forgiveness
