"EDEN! EDEN! WAKE UP!" called Andrey, "Eden! Wakie wake. It's time for school!"
Up on the bed, Eden woke up rubbing his eyes as he asked, "what's wrong?"
"A servant knocked on the door waking us up so that meal would be served soon at the peak of the next hour." Replied the Wizard as the Vampire came up all dressed neatly.
"It's 5:30 morning and breakfast will be served at 6'0 clock. Hurry up if you don't wanna miss the hot toast.
"Coming.." crawled Eden out of his bed by taking the ladder he got to the ground asking, "where is Sam?"
"Surprisingly, this is the first thing you ask?" asked Layzen when the Wizard replied, "he raced us ahead. Honestly, he didn't wake any of us."
"Then how did you guys get off the bed?" asked Eden while heading to the sink to get a wash,
"A second knock hit our head," replied the Vampire as he took his seat on the Wizard's bed for wearing his socks and shoes, "that brat ran away without even moving us a slightest. Once I meet him, I am going to suck half of his blood with my fangs," but, then he changed the topic himself frustrated, "well, I would regret it later."
"Why is that?" both Eden and Andrey asked puzzled.
"It would only taste like vegetables and I might vomit..." was his reply that made both laugh.
"Eden," called out the Wizard taking his attention while placing his hat on his head, "we will wait for you outside. Everything you need, from brush to fragrance, all are available in your wardrobe. Change and catch up."
"Alright, you may leave," weaved Eden from the side.
The Vampire placed his hat on his head and both left out.
In the dressing area, Eden opened the Silky Handkerchief from his wrist where he stabbed himself the last night.
It was surprising to see the arm all well and good.
"Looks like I recover from my wounds when I level up. There is no trace of wounds. Glad for the leveling up benefits."
He moved out to the handkerchief. Making a fuss of himself, he began to wash the handkerchief that belonged to secretary Melody.
"A high rank like the two secretaries shouldn't receive this red stained kind of kinds of stuff…."
Once he was done with the washing, returning it all new, he squeaked it well and then pressed over it, hot iron, in hope of dying it well.
Later he left it hung for dying.
Before moving to change, Eden turned to the system, opening the second cube and taking out the points paper as he said,
"I couldn't do anything about this the last night because Layzen got disturbed by me
At least, I checked it and stored it before it would be trashed away by now.
All I need to do is use it."
Scanning his status screen and the store space, where he got a little confused about how to submit the points in the selected icons.
He swung it, and shake it the papers yet, nothing happened.
"I need to add the points, especially to my Space store.
It would result in overflowing like the last time. Luckily, I got the duration to check it.
Anything can happen in the coming days that can result in trashing away my rewards.
So, I need to increase it NOW! BUT HOW!" his mind went empty.
For a minute he stared at the paper and then the status, burning his head for any answer that were to add.
Then, an idea hit his head.
"If it's a system like modern techs, then perhaps I can try this..." he pressed his index finger on the glass paper when the number 10p displayed over his organ.
He swiped it towards the status screen, on the Attack point….
[TING]
[ATTACK POINTS: 10]
It increased.
"' OH! Now I get it!" smiled the youth, "There is the method of swiping and touching the screen in this system.
Good thing I sneaked behind Eliza to see how she uses gadgets."
Back home, in old days, Eden wasn't allowed to use any devices like mobile phones, touch tablets, or virtual Keyboards including even watching T.V.
He was forced to stay out of living room where all technologies were placed and he had only his room as his playground.
Not to mention, going outside his house was forbidden for him.
But don't worry. He was the saying goes: Boys are boys.
This boy would love to sneak between the furniture, sit there like a curdled cat and watch Eliza's attention on the gadgets plus, noticing her finger that how she used the gadgets.
Later, he did receive a lot of punishments for committing this act however, his nasty actions did come to use after all.
He could function the Magus system by it. Suppose he never saw her doing the moments on the device., then how would he know that there existed stuff that required only fingers to process?
"' thank goodness I did that or else I would have been standing here like an idiot." Smiled the boy to himself.
As he progressed with the updates, he added 10 points to Attack, 10 to defense adding even the Space store where he inserted 20 points into it.
"Ten points for one pocket which means I have now eight pockets." Calculated the youth, "' Kind of expensive and hard to understand but, I need pockets to keep stocks for later use in the future."
The remaining points he stored in stock plies and returned the folder to a cube.
Eden immediately got changed. He wore his socks, shoes, and gloves by sitting on the floor rather than taking the support of the nearby chair. As he stood, he called
"Luminaire!!!"
From under the wizard's bed, the broom flew out and rotated around its master in delight as though it has seen its father after a long absence.
"' Good morning, buddy! It's good to see you. How was sleep?" he asked as though he was expecting an answer from it.
The broom stopped in front of him and flipped into the air similar to the saying, I am ALL well!
This was enough for Eden as he laughed at its reaction. He said, "From onwards, you will be by my side. We will never separate. I'll keep you alone, however…." he questioned by looking at its size, "it will look silly viewing a large broom like you following me. What should be done?"
The broom named Luminaire learned its master's perplex. In a swift, it flipped and sparked, returning to its formal form, aye when it appeared the first time to him.
A pen….
"AH! YEAH! You can change!" exclaimed Eden in the excitement slapping his face, "You were a pen before. Now I remember! This is better."
He placed the pen in his chest pocket while standing in front of the ward robe's mirror like a gentleman.
Upon folding the dry handkerchief, he placed it into his pocket and was set to go.
He shut the door of his wardrobe, along with his seven cubes, hovering and rotating around, Eden was all prepared for the first day of school.
He left for the door, switched off the light, and went out by shutting the door behind him.
