It was a pity seeing that new student attempted to plot her own friend.
Zeryon shook his head; he could do the worst thing on them, but he still tood calmly in the corner. He prefered to observe their drama for a little longer. It was sometimes enjoyable for him to do.
"What's going on here?" The teacher asked while observing surround.
"Here they are, Sir. She was insulting me, and she made me fall to the floor until my hands hurt. You can't accept people like them in this academy." She pointed Gina dan Yesiba shamelessly.
"Huh? What did I do? It is you who ordered someone to clean your shoes." Yesiba defended herself.
"Is that true?" The teacher turned to her.
"My friend wants to help me, I'm not forcing her, Sir. Just ask her if you don't believe it." She pointed her fingertips on Chinese girl standing next to her. "Emelle Lee, try to explain to him, please!" she continued.
"Yes, sir. I wanted to do it by myself," Emelle responded in a low tone. Then she lowered her head, avoiding the eye contact.
Yesiba laughed amusedly. "Oh my—" She didn't continued her words.
Zeryon also could see that it was funny the chinese young woman didn't want to speak the truth. However, how long could the truth be hidden? Nobody could hide the fire when the smoke went arround everywhere.
Moreover, the incident occured in the public, where there are many eyewitnesses, Included Zeryon Drax.
"See? You have to take action on this, Sir." Kalea insisted.
"Are you students at this campus?" The teacher asked Gina and Yesiba.
"No, sir." They both shook their heads.
"Then please leave this campus. Don't make a fuss here." The teacher grabbed Gina and Yesiba by the shoulders and led them went to the outside. Meanwhile, the spoiled woman flashed her triumphant smile.
"But sir, I want to register for the academy," Gina protested in a pitiful and desperate tone.
Seeing Gina was treated as such, Zeryon immediately took action. He couldn't bear the thought of that young woman leaving the academy. Not to mention the humiliation that she had just received.
"Wait, wait a minute! Nobody leaves the academy." Zeryon approached with his arms stretched out in front of them.
"What's the matter, Mr Zeryon Drax?" the teacher asked.
"Wait a minute, sir. You can't kick them out without first listening to their explanation. Every story has two sides," Zeryon responded.
The teacher let go of his grip and said, "That's right. Okay, now tell me. Why did you insult and attack her?"
"I didn't. Yes, I called her gullgroper, an old Tudor English expression which means 'to take advantage of someone' I'm just stating the fact. It's not an insult at all," Yesiba explained.
"No. That's not true," the spoiled woman protested from behind, and her face dropped.
"What's wrong with you?" Yesiba looked pityingly at her.
"I was there from the beginning of their fight. Yesiba and Gina are correct. I can assure you of that." Zeryon elaborated.
"Okay. I am unable to ignore Mr. Zeryon Dax's testimony. I'm not going to punish you all this time. But if you do it again, I will not hesitate to give sanctions. Do you understand, kids?" The teacher shifted his gaze to each of the four young women who stood infront of him.
"Yes, sir," they answered in unison.
Zeryon breathed a sigh of relief to see that the fight was over. The teacher looked at the clock on his hand, then said goodbye to returned to his class. Gina also continued to register at the academy. He was waiting outside, because he was sure Heva Litten could handle everything.
Not long after, Gina and Yesiba came out of the room with beaming faces. Gina's smile was very lovely, as if it soothed the soul that looked at her. Her blue eyes caught Zeryon's gaze, then she jogged over to him.
"Hi!" Gina explained with smiled face.
"Hello," Zeryon replied.
"Thank you for helping us."
"No worries. Let's just say I paid the price for my bad attitude yesterday. I'm truly sorry," Zeryon admitted.
"No, it's fine. I was wrong too," Gina stated, and said, "But I really I appreciate it that you mentioned my initials and apologize infront of your millions followers. I hope they won't chase me after this." Gina laughed seems widden.
"Oh I apologize. I promise you that is won't be happening."
'Did I just apologize to her again?' Zeryon asked himself.
He had never previously apologized to anyone. He didn't feel the need to apologize, not because his ego prevented him, but because the demons had no sense of empathy. Perhaps it's a natural law. But still, they could differ between right and wrong. Most of them choose to ignore it.
For Zeryon, however, he chose the different way. He believe that anything he had planted, he would reap it later. The universe would decide the karma. When he could receive the good recompense later, why would he throw dirt in the first place.
"What major did you choose?" Zeryon asked and brought up other topics.
"Music. I love singing and listerning to the voice of instruments," she answered.
"Oh, unfortunately, you won't be able to take my class then."
"I didn't know that you were a lecturer here." Gina covered her mouth with her hands.
"No, I'm not a lecturer. I am just a regular guest here. Once or twice in a month I will share a little experience in public classes. It's kind of like a seminar."
"Oh, I see. So, all students are welcome to attend the seminar?" Gina's eyes looked sparkle like crystals.
"Yes, you can, if you want. Will you come?" Zeryon confirmed it.
Gina furrowed her brow. She took a breather before responding. It made Zeryon wonder if she'd ever see her again in class. Furthermore, he was well aware of the code of ethics of humans that prohibits the teaching team from having a special relationship with a student.
