Ghina was busy thinking to herself that she would be thrilled if she could attend the seminar. Her eyes would be spoiled for a few hours by the masterpiece paintings as well as the extraordinary works of the universe; Zeryon Drax.
"Would you attend the seminar today?" Zeryon inquired.
"Thank you for your offer. Maybe another time," Gina spoke up.
She could see the smile on Zeryon's face seemed to shrink, and he commented, "Alright, that's fine."
The young woman with the light blue eyes had promised to bring her sister two burgers. That was the reason why she refused. Yes, indeed, their relationship had been strained. But that didn't mean she could let go of her responsibilities as an older sister. Moreover her mother was not at home.
"All right, then save my cell phone number," Zeryon said.
"Huh?" Gina rolled her eyes. It was not because she didn't like it. She just couldn't believe it, Zeryon, the famous artist gave her his number.
However, she didn't want to waste this chance, so she quickly took her phone out of her pocket and she was ready to type. "Yes, please," she added.
"May I type it for you?"
"Like serriously?' Gina quickly nodded, and Zeryon took the phone in her hand and dialed his own number.
For a few moments Gina was able to lift her head to pay close attention to Zeryon. His bluish black hair blew in the wind, parting his face with a firm jaw. His thin lips looked like ripe fresh fruit in the middle of the desert. So tempting to taste.
Unknowingly a smile appeared on her lips. The charm of the illusion artist seemed to hypnotize her.
A few seconds later, Zeryon was done, he liftet her head and Gina was in shock until she was embarrassed when he maybe caught her had been watching him.
"Is there anything wrong with me?" Zeryon smiled slightly.
Gina's cheeks felt hot, then she bit her lower lip and said, "Nothing. You're just too cute." She automatically cover her mouth with her hands.
She can't believe she said that to Zeryon. She didn't know what he would think about her.
"Don't worry. You're also cute." Zeryon was still smiling, then he returned the phone.
Gina received her phone back awkwardly.
"I'll tell you later about the general classes or seminars that I'll attend. So you won't miss it."
"Oh wow, thank you so much!" Gina was almost to jump because she was too excited.
"No problem." Zeryon smiled, then he said goodbye.
Gina's heart was pounding like a horse's stride. She had just gotten Zeryon's phone number, and she was overjoyed about that. She dashed over to Yesiba and immediately hugged her.
"Wussup, Girl?"
"Guess what? I got Zeryon's number," she whispered to her.
Yesiba grabbed Gina's shoulder and moved her body away so she could see the young woman's face, "Are you serious?" she asked.
"Yes! He did it all by himself."
"That's lit!" Yesiba hugged her best friend tightly and they both laughed.
"Hey, guys! Why are you both so cheerful? Is there something I'm missing?" Bryn, who had just arrived, joined Gina and Yesiba right away.
"Of course you missed things. Where did you go?" Gina asked and Yesiba let go of her arms.
"I looked through the classes available. And I really adore all of the statues over here. They are so magnificent to see," Bryn explained.
Both the young women nodded, and Gina commented, "Ah, I see. I also noticed the statues."
"So hows the registration going? Have you completed the process, Gina?" Bryn asked.
"Yes. I got the admission from the academy. And guess what? I got a scholarship too!" Gina answered.
"Oh that's great! I didn't know there was a scholarship program."
"They offered me while I fulfilled my bio, then I got interviewed. They asked me to show my talent. I let them know that I could sing. Without a doubt, they asked me to sign the paper. Man, I think I'm lucky today," Gina explained, with a smile on her face.
Her heart felt like was jumping out when she really wanted to tell about Zeryon's number but she just couldn't tell it to Bryn.
Bryn nodded and said, "That's freaking fantastic! I'm happy for you. We'll be going to the school for the first time."
"Hooyah, I'm so excited!" Yesiba commented.
"I hope with the scholarship your mother would love it and could change her opinions."
"She even doesn't know that I'm here. She won't spare me any life if she knew what I'm doing now."
"But I applaud your bravery this time. You took the right steps to go to school." Bryn paused as he looked up at the blue sky and he put his fingers in his trouser pocket.
Then Bryn continued. "It's just, it would be better if your mother knew everything. I'm just praying that there won't be a third world war when she finds out the truth you have disobeyed her orders."
"Don't worry about me. I can handle it."
"Just a thought. It's good for you if you can handle it."
Actually Gina also had a deep thought about that. But she was ready for the worst scenario.
"Okay, let's go home now," Bryn said to his two friends.
"I've got something to do. You and Yesiba can go home first, Bryn."
"Okay."
The three of them walked towards the courtyard and separated at the gate. Bryn and Yesiba got into the car, while Gina was still standing and waving to them until vehicle sped away from her sight.
Gina turned around, looking up at the building with tall pillars decorated with statues of dragons with human heads.
Dark clouds shrouded the area, creating a dark atmosphere that hid a mystery. The place was actually a little bit weird for an academy. Gina thought that the architect of this building was very talented, but he or she clearly had different taste and was a little strange.
"Go away from here!" A woman's shrill voice rang in Gina's ears.
"Holly crap!"
