Ashley had developed complications, so she couldn't deliver her baby naturally. She had to undergo a cesarean section. She had lost so much blood that she needed an immediate blood transfusion. It was an unexpected delivery, and they weren't prepared for it.
"I had thought things would go smooth, Ahsley please be strong for your kids and us," Caitlyn thought as she was pacing in the waiting room. Luckily for them, there was O positive blood group in the blood bank, that's Ashley's blood group. The surgery commenced at exactly 8 pm. Exhaustion was visible in the faces of everyone in the waiting room. Some were murmuring silent prayers while some were pacing, like Caitlyn. Caitlyn was watching the time on her phone, she's a doctor and knew the estimated time for a cesarean section.
"They should be done in the next 45 minutes if no other complications arise," Caitlyn thought.
