They got back to the hospital and as soon as Caitlyn was about to get out of the vehicle, Samara talked.
"You should desist from asking Lord Lestat those questions you asked me," Samara said.
"And why should I do that?" Caitlyn asked, they looked at each other before Samara broke eye contact.
"For your good," Samara said and got down from the car. Caitlyn sighed and stepped out too. She went into the hospital and found Ashley talking with Richard. She was awake but the babies were asleep. The doctor said she was going to be discharged in five days. Caitlyn sat on a chair and joined the conversation with the siblings.
"Will y'all come for the christening? That's next Saturday," Ashley asked Caitlyn. It appeared like she had asked Richard but wanted to know Caitlyn's response.
"Of course, we can't miss it for anything," Caitlyn said and smiled, while she squeezed Caitlyn's hands.
