Caitlyn had succumbed to the stress she had battled with throughout the week and she slept like a healthy newborn who had no worries. Another factor for her deep sleep was that she wasn't on duty on Friday. Richard had woken up at 5 am due to the sound of Caitlyn's alarm. He had also cooked breakfast for his kids and had driven them to their school. On his way to their school, Henry had informed him that Caitlyn had stopped them from taking the school bus and that she had resorted to picking them up after school.
"She claimed it's safer," Henry said. Richard simply nodded and said he would pick them up after school, though Henry grumbled about his basketball practice.
"I will drive Simeon home and come back to pick you up," Richard said.
"You're also supporting mum? This is ridiculous!" Henry retorted but Richard merely shrugged. Richard dropped them at their school and came back home. Caitlyn was still asleep when he got home.
