The princess is perplexed as to how she can show her face to a foreign man when it is against Indian religion and has been practised for many years at the behest of the king (Padmini's father). And as she reflected on all of this, she rubbed her hands softly.
Padmini's father recognises that Padmini does not want to do this and asks, "Daughter, do you have any problems?" Mahendra Pratap is not a foreigner; in fact, he is the emperor's personal friend. If this is the case, the emperor must have expressed this desire.
After hearing the Maharaj, a wave floats inside Mahendra Pratap, and he eagerly looks at the princess while touching his moustache.
"Father, if Emperor Bhimsen wants to see me, I have no hesitation because our relationship is settled," Princess Padmini says, revealing her confidence.
Sorry, King Mahendra Pratap. I don't mean to offend you, but I am an Indian woman, and I will not break a centuries-old tradition by showing you my face.
Following the princess's speech, everyone in the room expresses their sympathy and appreciation for her words with applause.
After hearing Padmini, Mahendra Pratap becomes enraged, but he is powerless to intervene because many people are present in the meeting, and if Bhimsen finds out about his cleverness, the situation could worsen; thus, he abandons the matter. After agreeing, Bhimsen handed over the message to Princess Padmini and left without looking at her.
After King Mahendra Pratap leaves Rupnagar, everyone leaves the assembly one by one, including Princess Padmini, who gets up and goes to her room because she was eagerly awaiting what Emperor Bhimsen had sent to her. The desire to open it and read it grew within her.
Many maidens are waiting for her as she walks to her room to change her clothes and makeup. In her room, the princess sits in front of the oval-shaped mirror and requests that a maidservant read the message sent by Emperor Bhimsen.
The princess was looking in the mirror, and the maid on one side was taking bracelets from her hands, while the other maid was doing her hair. Another maid standing nearby was holding up different clothes.
"Gomti read what the emperor has sent for me," Princess Padmini says.
"Ji princess, and she reads...," Gomti says.

"Greetings, Princess Padmini.
Forgive me for being unable to meet you because of compulsion, but I do want to see you because I have heard about you just like everyone else, and everyone says that no one in India is more beautiful than you. If you like me, princess, I am proud that you chose me as your beloved when even great kings were ready for you, but you trusted in me. I promise that as long as I live, I will never let you suffer; whatever you desire, I will bring to you."

After hearing all of this, the prince's face turned completely red, both of her cheeks turned pink, and her eyes were lowered in shame. The front mirror showed all of this. What is written next? Princess Padmini asks the maid, "Why have you been so quiet?"
The maid answered, "That's all the princess wrote in it, plus it contains this red rose the emperor sent for you, along with a peacock feather."
As she stands outside her room's window, Padmini commands all the maids to leave.
She searches for Bhimsen in the lovely moon in the sky while holding the rose flower he sent for her in her hand, and while she does so, she begins to sense love blooming within her.
"I've never felt this way before for anyone, so what happened to me? Why am I waiting on the emperor with such a high level of impatience?
Everything now feels better, including the wind and the weather, as though everything has stopped. Is this the current state of my affection for the Emperor?
When Mahendra Pratap arrives at Bhandup Nagar, he immediately greets and embraces Bhimsen before saying, "Namaste, Emperor Bhimsen brought good news for you."
Bhimsen stuns the class while instructing orphans and underprivileged kids in battle skills, then he leads Mahendra Pratap to the palace's front courtyard, where the two friends used to discuss their emotions regularly.
Tell me what excellent news Mahendra you have brought for me, and how you liked talking to the princess, Bhimsen demands. Bhimsen looked at Mahendra Pratap eagerly while asking, his eyes flashing brilliantly.
"Yes, I did meet Princess Padmini, and she was just as we had been told by others. She is the most stunning form in the universe, bar none. the lovely voice that is assured and respectful to everyone. Whoever sees her won't be mesmerised by her or fall in love with the princess;
After hearing the admiration for the princess, Bhimsen laughed and remarked in jest, "Well, have you also fallen in love with the princess Mahendra Pratap?"
Mahendra Pratap's hair sprang up when he heard this, and he remained mute the rest of the time since he was unable to comprehend what was happening beneath him. He had been captivated by the princess ever since they had first met, and he had tried unsuccessfully to glimpse her face.
