It was the weekend and Kate was hoping to go and see her friend, Jessica. This was the freedom Kate has been praying for. She has to use this opportunity to go wherever she wants and do whatever she wants. Moreover, she doesn't go anywhere apart from Jack's house and Jessica's boutique clothing store because she isn't always at home.
Instead, she would always be in the shop.
Kate wants to go to Jessica's place, not because of any other thing, rather but to tell her about her boyfriend, Jack.
Jack, on the other hand, was also thinking about going to Jessica's place to spend some time with her because he wasn't doing anything at home. The home was boring, no one to discuss with, and he can't go and engage his mother in any discussion because of her health.
It has been two days since Jack last saw nor talked to Jessica, so he was missing her because when he was still going to the workshop, he always created time to spend with her which made their friendship stronger.
Charles was a good friend of Jack, but they never knew each other until they met at the football game, where they got to know more about each other. Charles came from a family of four. He, his mother; his father, and his little sister, Anita. His parents were also poor people, like Jack's parents.
Charles's situation was like that of Jack. His parents couldn't further his education career at the university and when Charles got to know about Jack's family, he picked an interest in learning furniture work. Charles decided to also inform his parents that he would like to learn the hand work too. Which they agreed for him.
After Kate told Jack on a phone call that she was going to visit her friend, he decided to also call Jessica that he would be coming over to her shop to see her.
"Hi, Jessica," Jack's voice echoed from the phone.
"Hello, Jack. How is your weekend?" Jessica greeted me from the phone.
"Thank God. How are you over there?" Jack replied.
"Cool. I'm sorry that I have been unable to call you since after the incident." Jessica apologizes.
"No, it's cool. You don't have to bother about that." Jack responded.
"Alright, thanks." Jessica appreciated it.
"Welcome. Jessica, I would like to come over to your place to keep you company, if you don't mind," Jack's low voice echoed in her ears.
"Wow! I will be glad if you come over. Moreover, I am expecting a friend of mine today. I will be glad if you guys meet." Jessica said with excitement.
"Oh, really?" Jack asked.
"Yeah," Jessica replied.
"Alright then, can I inform Charles so that we can come together?" Jack asked her.
"Sure. You guys can come together." Jessica answered.
"Okay. Thank you. Please be expecting us." Jack said.
"No problem," Jessica responded.
"Bye, and see you later," Jack said.
"Bye, and I'm waiting for you guys," Jack replied.
Jack hung up, and immediately called Charles to inform him, but Charles disappointed him by saying he was already prepared for the weekend football training.
Jack has almost forgotten that they do go for training every weekend because they don't go to their workshop on weekends.
Jack didn't hesitate to get prepared for the training. He quickly showered up and got prepared.
He got out of his room and informed his mother that he was going for football training and that he would be back in no time. Furthermore, he promised to come back once they are done with training.
Jack left for football training. He ran out of the house and jogged to the field because the field wasn't far from his house.
Kate has already informed her father that she was going out, and he agreed. He assumed that everything was moving fine because her bodyguards hadn't reported her to him, according to the instructions he gave them. "Ensure to report her to me if she visits any man apart from John, the president's son," that was the instructions he gave them but due to what Kate has passed through. They pity her when she pleaded with them not to tell her father that she went to Jack's house. It will be better if he knows that she went to Jack's house, but if he gets to know that she gave him money, then that's where the big problem will come from.

"Hi, Jessica," Kate's voice came from the phone.
"Hello, Kate. The beautiful princess." Jessica replied and praised her.
"Aww, thank you." Kate shyly responded.
"You are welcome," Jessica said.
"Where are you now?" Kate asked.
"My usual spot," Jessica replied.
"Oh, as usual. Alright then, I'm almost done preparing to leave for your place." Kate muttered.
"Oh, really?" Jessica asked.
"Yeah. I have to hurry and come over so that I can leave early." Kate told Jessica. Jessica was wearing a smiling face as she talked to Kate, but when she heard her saying she will leave early, her mood swung. She suddenly wore a cloudy face like a dark sky without stars.
"Why will you leave early? Are you planning to go to another place?"
Jessica asked her with a low voice.
"Well, not. I'm not going anywhere apart from your place." Kate shrugged her shoulders and replied to Jessica.
"Then why?" Jessica insisted on knowing why.
"Relax yourself, I was just joking," Kate whined.
"Hmm. Be careful with me next time, you will play with my senses," Jessica said jokingly.
"Wait a minute, are you a chameleon?" Kate jokingly asked back.
"I'm a human being, but my behaviors are like that of chameleon skin colors," Jessica replied, but before she could finish the statement, she was already laughing.
"It will be preferable if you become a chameleon itself," Kate responded with her style of laughter.
The two of them were seriously laughing that if it was allowed for the birds of the sky to ask why, they would have done that.
After making a call to Jessica, Kate went out of the house and one of her bodyguards who was standing at the door collected her purse and led her to the car. The bodyguard opened the car door and Kate got in, and he handed her the purse. He went to sit in the front seat with his colleague, the driver.
Jessica was busy with some customers who came to buy some clothes in the boutique. Kate had to sit down on one of the seats under a shade as she waited for Jessica to finish attending to her customers.
Since it was a large boutique, people from rich homes always patronize Kate. Although, it seems stressful when there are many customers in the shop to buy their outfits.
After the customers finished buying their stuff, they came out of the shop. It happens to be John and Diana that were in the shop. Kate's attention was on her phone, and she couldn't raise her head to see the people who were coming out of the shop. John and Diana didn't mind checking out the person who was sitting by the shop door side. Although, Diana doesn't know Kate, so, even if she saw her, she wouldn't understand anything. Jack's bodyguards were following them at the back with the stuff John and Diana bought in the shop in their hands.
John played with Diana's intelligence as he handed Jessica a card that contained his contact, which Diana didn't notice. When Jessica stretched forth her hand to collect the card, she saw his contact on it, and she almost rejected it, but she wanted to avoid disappointing John, so she collected it with a smirk on her face.
