Kate told Jessica everything between her and Jack, but Kate never let Jessica know that it was the Jack she knew that she was talking about.
After discussing countless things together, Jessica decided to call Jack, to know where he was. The phone rang, but nobody picked up. Unfortunately, Jack wasn't close to the phone.
Jessica was worried and disappointed because Jack had just failed to fulfill his promise.
Jack came back home looking stressed and tired. The thought of calling Jessica didn't cross his mind. Instead, he took a shower and went to bed to have some rest.
Charles, on the other hand, was also ready to follow Jack to Jessica's place, but they were both tired.
"Who are you stressing yourself to call, Miss Cinderella," Kate jokingly asked the confused Jessica.
"I'm trying to reach a friend of mine. I just hope he won't disappoint me," Jessica replied with a sad face.
"A friend or a boyfriend?" Kate asked her and took her gaze away from Jessica.
"Hey! Haven't I told you that I don't have a boyfriend? Though he's a male friend, but weren't dating." Jessica smirked.
"Are you certain?" Kate kept on whining about her, but with a bit of seriousness to find out the truth between them.
"Oh, so you are doubting Thomas, huh?" Jessica reluctantly asked Kate.
"Absolutely not. I am not doubting Thomas and I never wish to be," Kate responded.
"Then why the questions if you are not?" Jessica asked again.
"You know what, let's forget about the so-called friend of yours and think about a better thing to discuss," Kate replied and suggested.
"Better." That was all Jessica utter.
"Alright, can we go to your house then? I really want to know your house." Kate recommended.
"That will be fine, but actually, I wanted Jack and his friend to come over so that we could go on together. He has been singing that he would like to know my house, but I haven't gotten the opportunity to do that." Jessica explained.
"So, what would you do now?" Kate asked.
"I have no other option than for us to go without them," Jessica answered.
"Should I call one of them?" Kate asked.
"How would you call any of them? I don't think you know any of them not to talk of having their contacts." Jessica responded with a bit of surprise.
"I was just kidding, actually," Kate gasped and replied.
"Hmm," Jessica sighed a relief and rolled her eyes like a cricket ball.
"Anyway, please allow me just five minutes to arrange some things before going," Jessica begged.
"Alright, just five minutes," Kate responded.
"No, I mean ten minutes," Jessica spoke.
"No problem, just ten minutes," Kate replied and took out her phone from her purse.
"Sorry, I mean fifteen minutes," Jessica whined as she stood in one place.
"What's your issue? Okay, fifteen minutes is fine." Kate replied with a frowned face, and Jessica burst into laughter. Kate gave a faint smile.
"It seems like you aren't hearing me. I said I need twenty minutes to arrange some things, was that not what I said?" Jessica said with a wide smile on her face.
"Hmm, use the 24hrs to arrange whatever you want to arrange," Kate replied as she operated her phone.
After Jessica was done arranging whatever she wanted to arrange, she informed Kate that she was done and they both left for her house in Kate's car.

Jack's phone was ringing again, which makes it the fifth time the noisy ringing tune has been disturbing Mrs. Elizabeth in the parlor. She decided to take it to Jack, who was still snoring on his bed in the hot afternoon.
Mrs. Elizabeth knocked on his door, but he didn't hear the knock, and she knocked harder. She didn't bother to check the caller's name, all she could think was that the call must have been important if not the caller wouldn't have called more than once.
Jack finally answered on the bed. He thought that it was a dream, and he was about to lay back his head on the pillow when the mother knocked once more.
"Yes, mum," Jack mumbled as he raised his heavy eyelashes to open his eyes.
"You have missed calls on your phone." Her voice echoed in his ears.
He sleepwalked to the door and opened it.
He stared at his mother for a few minutes before taking his phone. Jack dropped his phone on his bed before heading to the bathroom to wash his face because he was still feeling sleepy.
When he came out of the bathroom, he stood by the bedside and gazed at his phone. He wasn't even feeling like checking the caller because the bed was still calling him to come back.
After staring at the phone for a while, he hissed and then took the phone. Jack was surprised to see eight missed calls. The recent two missed calls were from Charles, two from Kate, and the remaining three were from Jessica.
He was confused about whom to call first. Well, a caring guy will go for his girlfriend first, which Jack did. After telling Kate why he couldn't pick up her calls, he went ahead to ask her where she was, and she told him that she was with her friend. But she didn't mention her name, and Jack didn't bother to ask for her friend's name.
Jack called Jessica, and she started sparking like a naked wire. She was furious at Jack because he didn't show up the way he promised her. Jack pleaded for forgiveness and told her why he was unable to make it up to her.
After explaining everything to her, which later calms her down. Jack went ahead to call Charles.
Charles told him that he wanted the both of them to go to Jessica's shop, but since he didn't pick up, he changed his mind.
Unfortunately, the day finished without Jack going out after coming back from his training.
He had no other choice than to go back to bed. He switched on his electric appliances to watch some movies. Furthermore, he laid down on his bed with the remote control in his hand.
The day was moving smoothly for almost every soul, but Mr. John was having a serious problem in his office. This issue was bigger than what happened in Jack's workshop. This would be the genesis of their hardship in life.
The family was really in bigger trouble now!
