After three days of only eating and sleeping in the train, the only fun thing they experienced through the trip is when the train submerged underwater, they finally reached their destination, the Diamond Island.
The Diamond Academy is in the center of it. The three friends is currently taking all their belongings and readying for their departure. When they finished taking all their belongings, they met at the front of the exit doors, waiting for it to open. They didn't have to wait long though, because it opened a minute after.
When they got off the train, they felt like a country bumpkin seeing all the tall buildings in the island. One thing they noticed is that, all the people from the island that they come across all have watches with different colors Iron, Bronze, Silver and Gold. Some people who rode the train with them, took their own watches from the receptionist desk in the train station.
When they walked out of the train station, a very handsome man who looks like a more muscular and older version of Nathan is waving at them, alongside a large Eagle. He is the older brother of Nathan - Bruce, Kai knew from Nathan's stories that Bruce's affinity is with Wind attributed attack type Eagles, but hearing and seeing is very different. Kai has never seen a familiar as big as the Eagle besides Bruce, estimating from it's size alone, it could carry 10 people or more in it's back.

Comprehension is an ability that beasts get once they broke through Elite rank. They can comprehend a certain aspect of their attributes and use the comprehension to strengthen their skills. The beasts can only comprehend one aspect per attribute.
Kai was very impressed by Bruce's familiar - Storm, it not only has very strong attacking ability, it is also a very excellent mount. However, Kai knew that Storm probably isn't Bruce's main familiar, because according to Nathan, Bruce's main familiar is a very small eagle. Unfortunately, he never had even a glimpse of it because even though Bruce takes it home every time he comes home, he treats it as his trump card and hides it from people.
Just imagining a familiar stronger than Storm, Kai became more excited to enter the Diamond Academy to see even more amazing beasts.
While Kai was in his own world while staring at Storm, they reached where Bruce is. Nathan immediately ran towards his brother "Bruce!!" he shouted then practically rammed his big brother with a hug.
When Angela saw this, she wasn't surprised, Nathan was the youngest in their family and he was doted on by everyone in his family, especially his brother.
"How's your vacation? Are you ready for the tests to get in the Academy?" - Bruce
"We had a lot of fun! I also studied and practiced a lot in the last three months just like you said," Nathan broke away from his brother and said.
When Bruce heard that, he patted Nathan's head, which made him pout and looked at his brother's friends. "What happened to Kai?" he asked when he saw Kai staring at his familiar, he swore he could see stars in them instead of pupils.
"Oh don't mind this nerd, he always becomes like that when he sees a very excellent beast, though I've never seen him as excited as now," Angela answered and broke Kai out of his reverie by frantically shaking him. "You should stop staring, you're making the poor eagle nervous," she said to Kai when he was finally awake.
"Oh! Sorry Bruce, sorry to you too," Kai apologized to Bruce and Storm. "It's just that, this is my first time seeing a full fledged Legendary grade beast, so I can't help getting excited,"
When Bruce heard that Kai immediately identified Storm as a Legendary grade beast, he was surprised because even some teachers isn't as fast as Kai when it comes to identifying beast's grades. He always heard from his brother how good Kai is at observing and identifying beast's grades, but he never expected how fast Kai had been able to identify a Legendary grade beast. He will without question ace the test part of the acceptance process of Diamond Academy.
He is also very confident that Angela and his younger brother would enter the Diamond Academy. However, the physical tests change each year, whether the three can all enter the Diamond Academy or not is still unknown.
