Everyone in the field is amazed by how beautiful the woman on the stage was, and even more amazed by the elephant fairy beside her.
Almost all the test takers have never seen a fairy before because of how rare it was. Among them was Kai, who was currently fervently looking at it, studying it thoroughly by looking at it's and it's contractors' status screens.

Kai became even more excited when he saw the elephant fairy's status, because it is the first time that he saw a beast that has a higher grade than Legendary. It is also his first time seeing a beast with a domain, even though he doesn't know what it does, he was given a hint on what differentiates higher ranked beasts to lower ranked beasts. The one thing he was most excited about was the Mystic attribute, one of the most mysterious and versatile attributes that is unique to fairies.
Mystic attribute is what makes fairies, so sought after by almost all the beast tamers in the world. Mystic attribute can be said to be the most unique of all the attributes in the world, because it is very rare to find two fairies with the same kind of Mystic attribute skills.
There is also no weak fairy, they all excel in their own unique way. Example of it is the Memory Fairy in the stage in front of the field, with just it's first three skills, it can be said to be a step above other Scouting type beasts.
Fairies also all have different appearances, most of them takes on animal like appearances, while some rare ones take on humanoid appearances.
The only way beast tamers can tame fairies is when their beast affinity matches the appearance that specific fairy have, because there has never been a beast tamer that had an affinity towards Fairies or the Mystic attribute. Example of it is Celeste Terra contracting the Memory Fairy because it's appearance is that of an Elephant.
There are also two kinds of fairies, first is the Natural Fairies, which is born naturally as a fairy, they can naturally spawn everywhere in the world, and luck would be the only thing any individual needed to find them. The second is the Plantborne, which is fairies born from plants.
Plantborne fairies is born when a hundred year old plant desires to move freely, and to escape their immobility. However, it is very rare for plants to take the chance to be born again as a fairy because of many reasons. One of them is that plants do not have that much intelligence, and even if they're intelligent enough the consequence is just not worth it for them.
The consequence is that they will start all over again. Starting over might be a blessing for many, but for hundred year old plants who are likely very high ranked at that point in time, starting over is a torture. The good thing is that, if they chose to be reborn as a fairy, their grade will be one grade higher.
Plantborne Fairies commonly have humanoid appearances, it is very rare to find a Plantborne Fairy that has an animal appearance.
The difference between Natural Fairies and Plantborne Fairies is that, Natural Fairies all have Mystic attribute and can't learn any other attributes, while Plantborne Fairies inherit the attributes they have before they chose to be reborn.
The only thing that all fairies have is their wings, it also indicates their superiority among their own species, in short their grades. Fairies with 1 pair of wings is either Common/Uncommon grade, 2 pairs of wings means that they are either Rare/Epic grade, Lastly, 3 wings meant that they are either Legendary/Mythic grade.
Fairy enthusiasts are split in two factions and is arguing about which of the two kinds of fairies is better. However, Kai who was also a fairy enthusiast never joined any of the factions, he loves both equally and if he's given a chance to contract a fairy, he will grab that chance by hook or by crook.
After watching the test takers in the field, being star struck by her and her Memory Fairy, Celeste said "I know all of you kids are very excited about taking the physical examination to compensate your less than satisfactory performance in the written examination, however because of your very low scores, we decided that a consequence shall be in order" she paused and looked disappontedly at all the test takers in the field, while releasing an intimidating aura. When the test takers felt her aura, they suddenly stiffened and sweat buckets.
"Yeah that's right! We are very disappointed with your written examination scores! Did you expect that, because we are a beast taming school, we don't value written examination as much? and that as long as you perform spectacularly in the physical examination, you'll get in our school?!" Celeste's intimidating aura was taken up a notch, which made the test takers below the stage even more anxious.
"You're sorely mistaken! Unlike the previous tests that we arranged, not all of you will be allowed to take the physical examination, only 2,000 of you will be given a chance to take it and have a chance to enter Diamond Academy!" Celeste announced almost angrily. When the over 5,000 test takers below the stage heard that only 2,000 of them will be given a chance to enter the Academy, except for the confident ones almost all the test takers prayed to whoever they can pray on, to be among that 2,000.
"The 2,000 test takers that will take the physical examination, will be picked based on your scores on written examination," Celeste paused then looked at the pale students below her, when she is finally satisfied, she said, "Here's the top 1,998 test takers that are guaranteed to take the physical examination!"
The moment Celeste said the last line, a projection appeared on the stage, showing the current ranking lists of the test takers, based on their scores. Kai was tied with three others on the top 4th-7th spot. Nathan on the other hand was tied with five others on the 128th-132nd spot.
However, Angela wasn't in the top 1,998 at all. This made her almost tear up, but before she can do just that, Celeste added "As you can see, I only showed 1,998 spots, which means there is still 2 spots to be taken".
"The only ones who will have the chance to take the last 3 spots, will be test takers top 1,999th to top 2,100th. Here's the list!" The projected screen then appeared once more, showing the list.
Unfortunately, Angela still isn't in the list. This made her very depressed. When the other two guys saw her being that depressed for the first time, they don't know what to do, so they just comforted her however they can.
"Fortunately for three of you test takers, one of the 102 students came late and is automatically disqualified, so you still have another chance! Don't miss it! Here's the names of three fortunate students!" The projection screen then appeared once more.
When Angela saw her name finally appear, she couldn't help but cry tears of joy, she then became even more determined to take the last chance given to her, and rise above all of them to take one of the three spots remaining.
