Chapter 7 - Chapter 6 (planning)

Felix

It's been about five days since being transported here, Rex and I have claimed the cave near the beach as our home, using goblins as our main food source we've been able to eat and stay warm. Though we've come to the understanding that if we have to stay in the cave we at least need to know what kinda threats are near us. Obviously there is some sort of goblin camp somewhere around us that have gray and green goblins. They seem to enter some kind of rampage when coming into contact with humans, at least that's what I can only assume what is happening. They lose all sense of reason and kinda just rush towards us but who knows if that is a consistent thing. Rex has made a comment once or twice(more like every other minute) wanting a bed or at least something to lay on. I will be honest, that would be nice.

Rex has also informed me about being able to train our bodies to increase stats but why stop there? I'm sure we can train our minds and increase our Intelligence or Wisdom. I've joined him with doing some of his more simple body workouts to increase my strength and dexterity. We're still not very sure how to train our vitality but we'll figure that out eventually.

Rex has been a lot more controlled here lately, we haven't seen a goblin since our last fight but he seems worried about using his skill Rage. After I woke up we talked it out and after he informed me that his system forced his skill to end because of him losing control. I suggested to him to try and control his mana, he kinda just looked at me blankly for a bit before I informed him that when he activated Rage a red like aura was barely coming off his body. He went quiet for a while, I can only assume talking to his system, before he asked me on ways to control his mana. For the past day he's just been in a meditation after I informed him that meditation would allow him to move and slowly gain control over his mana, while I've been walking around the outside of the cave.

The cave is just on the side of a mountain that aims towards the forest. Towards the forest I've seen birds occasionally fly overhead, it seems like everything here is at least two times larger than they were back on earth. Boars occasionally come out of the forest line to graze on the grass. We could probably turn the boars into some good hides. The boars have different colors; it seems the leader is the larger red boar of their little group of four, two brown boars and a smaller red boar. Maybe we should try and lure them towards the cave, we should be able to kill them.

After killing two more gray goblins while Rex was passed out I was able to level up, I gained five stat points that I've been hesitant on using. Since figuring out we can train our stats up, I plan to use them when I hit a wall in training. I've also figured out that if I'm not meditating my mana takes about an hour to regenerate. While meditating it takes about thirty minutes. I've also found some smaller trees that will actually be able to be cut down. We probably should set up some kind of a door and defenses. Especially since we don't know when winter might hit. Luckily we have found out that our clothes auto clean in the morning. So as long as we don't destroy our clothes we'll have those clean at least. I brought up luring the boars towards the cave to Rex and he just looked at me for a moment "got any idea what they prefer eating?"

"Yeah, well at least the red boar seems to go to a specific spot every time to graze and that spot seems to have certain blue flowers that it prefers eating." he just nods and we head out of the cave to see that the boars have likely moved back into the forest, so Rex and I wander over to the flowers so we can pick them, this is also around the time we learned we have a inventory so they are preserved in there.

We'll make a path of them leading towards the cave tomorrow so we can sneak attack the red boar. I'll be the main attacker because Rex doesn't quite believe he can out power a boar at this time. Understandable seeing as the boar stands at equal height as him.
