With no idea where she was Theia simply decided to head down the mountain they where on. On the way curiosity had gotten the best of her once again, as such one could see a small girl with three fluffy tails, horns and cute fuzzy ears with her face buried deep in a book walking through the forest seemingly without a care in the world. Meanwhile the poor brother following behind her was busy making sure the young girl did not walk face first into a tree.
this went on until the sun had risen high in the sky that the scenery around the two had finally changed from endless trees to rolling hill tops. Finally drawn away from her book by the smells of freshly roasted meat and baked bread Theia smiled as her eyes locked on to a small town nestled between two large hills.

On this sunny day everyone in the village had been working diligently in their fields in an attempt to earn an honest living to support their families. Everything was quite and going relatively smoothly that was until..
"Someone! Someone! Come help the all the animals are going berserk!" It was unknown who shouted first but that one shout kicked the who village into a frenzy.
All the animals kept in the village where all kicking up a stir as if they where faced with some kind of huge predator, no matter what they did they couldn't seem to get them under control. Bigger animals had to be tied down and in some extreme cases put down on the spot while the smaller ones, if they hadn't already ran off in some way or another, had been gently knocked out.
"The hell is going on?!" The village head couldn't help but curse as he spat out the mouthful of tabaco he had been chewing.
"I haven't seen anything like this ever since those paladins and priest came down and blessed the place!" He spoke in a solemn voice as his eyes stared out towards the distant horizon.
"Damn church spouting nonsense about the lords protection only to have us pay more then half of what this entire village can make in a year for a fucking light show that didn't even do shit in the end!" He continued to curse before kicking up a handful of dirt as he turned to lend a hand in getting everything back in order.

As they arrived at the entrance to town Theia was already salivating at the thought of getting to eat fresh meat. When she lived in the freezing north the most she would get was a rabbit or two! Other then that she and her mother had to stick with pickled vegetables and any berries they managed to forage.
"Did something happen?" Theia mumbled with a slight tilt of her head as her tails swished lazily behind her. The entire village seemed to be in some kind of uproar.
"Perhaps they are preparing for some kind of festival? Though I've never heard of festival being held during this time of year." James answered as he continued to keep pace with her but never once dared to walk faster resulting in him staying at least a few steps behind his madam.
"Maybe... Lets go and ask! Maybe they will give us some meat if we help them out!" With an exited squeal Theia quickly ran ahead and questioned the first person she came across.
"Uncle! What's going on? Can I be of assistance?" Despite having her cravings for meat, she still remained well spoken and mannered just as her mother taught her to be.
"Ah! Little girl where did you come from? You should.... Head back to your parents all the animals where frightened by something it would be a shame if something happened!" Despite stopping to take a pause because of her appearance the villager did not take long to recover his friendly smile.
