One year one month later
"I got the job! I passed the interview!" I yelled as I barged into Grace's house. Her house was the sweetest. I was living there for a little more than a year now, and she was very warm and nice to me the whole time, like taking care of me. She taught me everything I had to learn about magic, everything about confidence. She was like the closest person to me now, including my elder brother, Zion. He was annoying at times, but still fun.
"You got it! Finally!" Grace clapped her hands, as she stood up on the sofa, "It was so long I thought you were never going to get it!" She said afterward, jumping up and down, causing my smile drop the fuck down.
Zion burst into laughter at my reaction.
"You didn't have to say that!" I whined, plopping down on the sofa.
