Chapter 1 - Big name

Seoul, south Korea

Jin-joo's parents' place

.....

Slumping helplessly on the couch, "Hi daddy,"

Lee Kim adjusted his glasses and spare a glance at her, "Jin, when did you arrive? And why didn't you call me that you'll be coming today?"

She rolled her eyes, Jin-joo knows how strict and formal her father is. Damn this man always annoys her with weird questions. How could he? He couldn't even ask how was her flight and the first thing he could ask was when did she come.

After hesitating for a while, she blandly answered in Korea language, "An hour ago."

"Hmm," He remarked with an affirmative sound before scanning through the newsmagazine he was reading. Causing Jin-joo to pout her lips in frustration.

"Where is Dong and Kang? I didn't find them when I came in."

"Dong-Hyun went out with Kang-dae, today is Kang-dae's match at the stadium." He informed in Korea language.

"Why didn't you go with them?" When he did not say anything, Jin-joo groaned and rolled her eyes. 'Ugh this old doctor," She stood up and made her way towards him.

Sitting beside him, she hooked one of her arm around his neck and grinned, "Come on dad, did I do something wrong and am unaware of it?"

"Of course you did," Placing the magazine down, he sat properly and faced her, "Jin-joo sweetheart, you are my only daughter and the second child before Kang-dae. Don't you think having multiple careers is stressful?"

"Dad, I don't think so and please stop getting worried over it. I've told you times without numbers, its my life."

"I know its your life, but being a Rapper, author and Taekwondo tutor, Jin-joo these are too much occupation for just one you my dear or do you want to die?" He frowned.

Jin-joo let out a chuckle and shook her head, "Hell no dad, I don't want to die." Cupping his face, "Listen, the thing is that I find myself being talented in these professions."

When he raised his eyebrows, she added, "Time is money, please don't misquote my statements, I want to make a very big name for my potentials."

"Am so proud of you sweetheart, but when you develop insomnia, don't blame your innocent father for being a bit careless." He stated.

Ugh there he goes again, always lecturing her on what to do. Well what can she do, she has no choice but to listen to his words.

"Don't panic dad, I won't develop any illness, and even if I had one, I'll definitely feel unconcern about it because all I see positive and not negative." Stretching her arms, a wide yawn escapes from her mouth.

Lee smiled when he saw her yawning, "You remind me of your sweet mother." Lowering his head in despair, he helplessly shook it and sighed, "She was a workaholic and beautifully talented woman just like you."

When she saw the sorrow in his eyes, she leaned closer and placed her head on his chest, "Dad, I promise you one thing, I'm going to find Justice for mom. We ain't gonna let go of whosoever is responsible for her breakdown."

Patting her head, Lee indeed knew the people behind his wife's breakdown and the reason why she's in the coma for two years, but he refuse to sweat it out because if he do, his peremptory daughter won't think twice before doing something stupid to the culprit and his family.

Just then Dong-Hyun and Kang-dae walked in, covered in sweat like someone whom just ran a marathon. When they saw their sister, they placed their hands on their waists and sighed, "The Empress is back."

Lifting her head up, she turned around, "Oh my God, look at these dudes." She beamed and jogged into their embrace. Hugging them simultaneously, "I miss you guys a lot."

Pulling away, her senior brother Dong-Hyun flicked her forehead and winked, "You decide to pay surprise visit huh."

Rubbing her head, she frowned, "Hey stop that flicking thing, anyway I didn't come for visit, I actually came to stay."

"Stay? You gat to be kidding me Jin, when was the last time you–" Grinning from ear to ear, Kang-dae flashed his brows, "In search of boyfriends huh?"

"Eww, stop it,"

"What do you mean by eww? You are 25 and you're still ewwing." Dong-Hyun scoffed before sitting beside Lee. "What's up doc?"

"Am cool Dong and how was the match?" He smiled.

"Guess who won?" When Lee tried to guess, he added, "Kang-dae."

Widening his eyes, he gasped, "Are you serious?" Looking at Kang-dae, he smiled, "Oh my darling thirteen year old prince, come and sit on my lap."

Kang-dae jumped like a kangaroo and made his way towards him.

"Am so happy you kicked those Jaguars asses."

"Uh huh, so what's my home reward?"

"Home reward? You didn't play for me, you played for your club and–"

Cutting him off, bianca added, "For his family as well, right Kang-dae?"

Vigorously nodding his head, "Oh yeah,"
