I looked at him for a while and in my mind, I was like.
'You sure are handsome but very dumb. If I was dead, would I be in front of you right now?'
I kept my thoughts to myself though and simply smiles.
"Ahh that, well I'm alive and well. That being said, Kay, can you take me to the Lu's mansion?"
"Of course, come on in".
"Haaa, you are the best. Hold on a little, I have someone with me".
I said and when I saw him nod, I went back to Joo Ah and Jagi.
"What took you so long?"
"Sorry, I couldn't get a cab going towards that direction plus they didn't want to carry an animal. Come on, I've gotten a vehicle that will help us home. Hey Jagi, please try your best not to scare him if not we won't be able to leave this place".
We went to the car and I got in the front while Joo Ah got into the back. After saying hello to him, she asked him if it was okay to bring her pet in and he said yes. Funny enough, he didn't even turn around to look at the animal that entered his car even though I'm very sure he felt how big it was in his car.
"So, where were you for over a month?"
"I was with her. She saved my life".
"I see, thank you miss. That was very nice of you".
The car was silent and after a few minutes, we finally got to the Lu's mansion. When I turned to tell her we had arrived, I saw her sleeping with Jagi. The sight was so beautiful that I couldn't help but smile.
Kay packed his car and immediately got off so I followed him.
"Hey Shin Suri, are you crazy? I know I've only known you for say a week before you went missing but how could you bring a tiger here huh?."
"Ha.....hahaha so you did see it. It's no wonder you didn't turn back even once. Scaredy cat haha. Either way, I don't know if you understand anything. But if that tiger was dangerous, then you wouldn't be having this conversation with me right now don't you think?"
I said and dragged my finger along my neck describing him dying and he placed both hands on his neck. I simply smiled at how funny this scenario was.
"We apologize for the inconvenience but I won't deny that we do need a place to spend the night".
We were so engrossed in our conversation that we didn't even notice Joo Ah and Jagi coming out of the vehicle. When we heard what she said, we both looked back and stared at her for a while.
"Ahh, sorry I didn't mean to eavesdrop on you it's just that we felt the car stopped so we came down and you weren't really quiet".
I wanted to say something but gentleman Kay beat me to it.
"I apologize for my stern behavior. You looked really worn out please let's go inside it's cold outside".
Just as we were about to go in, I heard a woman scream so loud it was impossible not to notice. Jagi turned and started running in the direction of the scream.
"Jagi!!" Joo Ah followed her and so did I. As we kept going, I realized the scream came from the torture house. When we got there, Jagi didn't go in, she just remained in front of the door.
"Where is she? You had better tell me where the f*ck she is if you want to leave this place alive".
Those were the words coming from inside the house and I knew who was talking. It was no other than Lu Jinho but I didn't know who he was torturing and why so I decided to go in and take a look.
When I got in, I saw a lady tied hands up with blood all over her body. I knew if she was let loose, she would collapse immediately. Lu Jinho's men were about to start hitting her again.
"Stop!!" I don't know why I interfered, I was used to seeing people get tortured and also torturing some myself but I couldn't hold it anymore. I knew Shin Suri's instincts were making me weak and I planned on working on it but for now, I had to stop this even though I knew he'd most possibly not listen to me.
"Shin Suri?"
"Holla boyfriend," I said putting on a fake smile and waving in a cute way. One thing was very obvious, we were having a contract relationship but we didn't like each other at all or so I thought because the next thing Lu Jinho did surprised me a little.
Lu Jinho ran and hugged Shin Suri so tight as if he wanted to get back every bit of the moments lost.
"I looked everywhere for you it was driving me crazy".
