A stream of fire caused the large Black Bear to rear backwards onto its hindlegs. A roar echoed throughout the forest as its motion turned from standing 3 meters tall to less than a third of that as it forced itself into a roll on the ground. The massive bear was counter attacking a leopard that hung on its back with its claws dug into its thick fur. The leopard lept from the back of the bear before its monolithic magnitude could crush it in its deadly revolution of weight. The bear noticed that its attacker had evaded its assault and discontinued its roll but it was too late. The jet of fire was back on the bear and its roar had no effect against the constant stream of sweltering inferno. In fact opening its mouth to thunder against the flame only worked against the bear as it only allowed for the blaze to push its way down its throat. With the sizzling of flesh and the purr of a walking leopard carcass a man stood over the now deceased mammal. That man was of course our main character Kroft! With a glance at the remains of the burnt black bear Kroft extended his hand and uttered a single word.
"Ayo."
A purple mist unwrapped itself from Krofts extended fingertips and traversed its way throughout the air onto the bear. A much needed UMP made its way into the body of the Black Bear and without a spark of life he arose from his eternal slumber. The bear raised itself from the ground and bowed its head to its new master and emitted a low growl in order to proclaim its respect for Kroft.
"Alrighty then, nice to have ya aboard.." Kroft responded. He definitely didn't know how he should be treating these resurrected creatures. He had a sense of trust with them but that still didn't mean if he should be speaking to dead animals or not. He just wasn't really sure if it would be the best course of action for his mental health. But then again being thrust into a realm where he experienced the deaths of millions if not billions of different organisms with his own very two eyes couldn't have been very soothing in terms of his mental health.
Kroft put these thoughts aside and checked his surroundings. Around him was his first ever resurrected undead the leopard and now right in front of him was a hulking Black Bear. He called over the leopard and mounted onto its back. Since he had never ridden a horse before he wrapped both of his arms around the neck of the leopard. If an outside perspective was viewing Kroft he would have looked stupid hugging the neck of the leopard. Fortunately though no one was around and with a mental command the leopard continued his journey forward at a moderate pace which allowed for the bear to keep up with it. Soon the three arrived in front of a cave. Kroft surveyed the entrance and the darkness that lurked inside. He saw the mud near the entrance and scanned the tracks that lead into and out of the cave.

"Oh a wolf pack? Doesn't that sound interesting Leo?" Kroft jokingly inquired.
The leopard or Leo as Kroft had taken to calling it, rubbed its paw against the disheveled dirt by the cave entrance before letting out a low pur in agreement. Kroft leaned back from hugging its neck and patted its head before giving the order to proceed forward. With Kroft now on foot following behind Leo and the Black Bear covering the rear, the three continued on their path deeper into the cave before a wolf was discovered not far from the entrance. As soon as the wolf heard the three approaching a long drawn out howl resounded throughout the cave carrying with it an echo that alerted the others of its pack to the intruders in their domain. Kroft quickly issued the order to attack and before the wolf could retreat Leo rushed forward using its front fangs to demolish the wolf's neck with a bitforce of ninety-four Newtons. A quick "Ayo" resounded from Kroft and the party with one more member quickly continued on their way to the next wolf. It wouldn't be long wither because less than 10 second after the first wolf was resurrected a swarm of 10 wolves came in a barrage pushing through the cave towards the cluster of four. Kroft kept a clear head though as he ordered the bear to the front of the group. The wolves rushed to the bear and pounced on him, four of them surrounded the bear while the fifth jumped up to face it directly. The bear's ginormous size proved to be advantageous though as it swung its paw at the leaping wolf and ended its life with one smack of a paw. The other four wolves didn't waste the chance that their brother created as they used their chompers to get a few good bites out of the bear's legs. The thick fur allowed for little resistance against such sharp and powerful bites to its exposed limbs. After two of the wolves successfully took down the front paws of the beast, the bear crashed to the rock floor. Instead of the wolves being able to finish the job though they were attacked by their own brothers or at least what used to be them. By now with the originally killed wolf, Leo, and Kroft working together they took down the remaining four wolves that didn't go to attack the bear. The spoils from that battle proved to be advantageous for the bear as the once quantity advantageous wolves were now outnumbered seven to five. Upon seeing that their probability of winning this conflict had dwindled to such a slim chance they readied themselves to retreat. Unfortunately for them though such plans could not come to fruition as Kroft had his now numerically larger group to surround the remaining wolves. Within thirty seconds the battle was over and Kroft had added another six creatures to his party. Now with eleven wolves, a leopard, and a bear Kroft was quite confident in taking down the rest of the wolves in the cave. He surrounded himself with the protection of the wolves and continued on into the cave. Eventually the cave panned out and the group entered into a large area where the remaining wolves were housed. Inside were the females but in front of them in a protective line were the remaining warriors of the pack. Seven more males stepped forward and an 8 little bit larger than average wolf made its appearance in the front. Now unfortunately this wolf didn't have a cool scar that showed an outstanding battle prowess or anything of the sort. It was most definitely the leader of the pack though as shown through the way that it took charge of the situation and led the wolves in an attack. This wolf was missing one crucial thing though and that was plot armor. There was no way in hell that a group of seven wolves was going to beat a group of fourteen strong. The battle showcased the excellent teamwork of the elites of the pack and they managed to bring down a few of the undead wolves surprisingly. In the end though every last wolf in the cave was slaughtered. The seven elites of the pack were brought back to life and when Kroft brought back the Alpha Wolf of the pack not only did he feel a mental connection form between him and the wolf but he could also feel a mental connection between the Alpha and his former pack members.
This is good, Kroft recounted to himself. Wolves are the most powerful when they are working together, now that these lads have a leader that means their teamwork will be exceptionally improved. They should be even better coordinated than when they were alive because now they can directly communicate to each other how their attack plan will play out.
Having resurrected the fighters of the pack, Kroft left the dead females and children as they were not as useful to him as the warriors. He could have resurrected them and used them as meat shields but Krofts Mana was dangerously low after taking the whole pack under his wing and so he decided against using his last bit of Mana until he found out how it could be efficiently restored. Before Kroft continued on with anything though he had one more thing to do and that was level up.
