Kroft viewed the message that appeared before his eyes after he said status. In all reality he didn't know how much experience he would get from killing the wolves but he expected for his leveling to slow down as it increased. He was content with gaining two levels from clearing out the cave. He immediately put the points into intelligence.

A wave of refreshing intensity pulsed through Krofts body as he could feel his Mana being restored. He made a quick note to himself that investing level up points restores Mana and then he moved forward with his wolves away from the cave. Kroft spread his wolves outward as he moved into a position of a wide semicircle pushing forward in order to cover the most ground and be as observant as possible of his surroundings. Things were different now, before Kroft was by himself so he would have to keep his guard up and fight with any threats that would sneak up on him, but now he had his lads. The lads could scout for him and in doing so both take any brunt of a surprise attack along with keeping him informed of the surrounding area.
Kroft and the lads continued to move throughout the forest, they intercepted another bear, a strange looking zebra animal as Krfot classified it and a whole plethora of rodents that Kroft would be able to classify unless he dissected them which he of course did plan on doing later. Kroft camped out under the stars for the next few nights as he experimented with Necromancy. The class allowed for him to to automatically be able to analyze a great portion of the theory behind the art. He experimented with the strange rodent corpses that he collected over the days as some of his lads went out to hunt and others watched his back. Kroft discovered pretty quickly that some of the rodents were carrying deadly diseases and others horrid venoms which he wouldn't have known before as all his lads were immune to them. He then went on to discover that insects created amazing scouts as they maintained their quick speeds and with such a small size no enemy would actively perceive them as a threat and therefore attack.
When Kroft finally completed all of his studies of his Class, he had made the decision to return to Monsoon. He made his trek back through the forest which he had mapped out in his mind thanks to his power. Something caught his nose before he got to Monsoon though. As he was about to exit the forest he could have sworn that he could smell smoke and his suspicions were confirmed when a brown and green beetle shared its vision with him. The beetle was on the walls of Monsoon but instead of the intact and protected city that Kroft had left a couple of days ago being there, in its place stood ruble and destruction being admitted by an army of gods.
"Holy shit." Kroft said to himself. He couldn't believe his eyes. There were beings as tall as skyscrapers swiping away buildings with a flick of their wrists. Monsters that were so deformed that you wouldn't believe they were real unless you were in a lovecraft novel devouring all and anyone that attempted to flee. Beings as small as nails could be seen flying in groups of thousands ripping apart anything that came into their visions. The worst and most calamitous of them all though were beings that you would believe were out of scriptures. They were some of the most beautiful creations that Kroft had ever seen. Their skin is as smooth as recently produced silk, as shiny as a newly polished floor. Bodies that were so perfectly chiseled that there was no way they could be made naturally. The women's curves were so plentiful that any ordinary man would bow down for a chance while the mens muscles buldged so manificancly that any ordinary woman would faint from an overload of dopamine. Kroft was awestruck but not only by their perfectness but by the pure catastrophes that they were creating with the beams of light they would deploy from their hands. In Krofts perception the only thing that these beings could be considered were deities. The town's destruction didn't seem to be completely set in stone though as a resistance to this army of destruction could be seen. The guards who were permanent residents of the town banded together to take down the littlest of monsters. Along with them Kroft could see seemingly righteous people from Cordis fighting on par with the beings destroying the town. On the other hand Kroft also noticed just annoyed Cordis natives who were fighting their way out of the town away from the assault. One man with pure gray hair fitted with his all white outfit teleported from place to place destroying monsters from behind with each swipe of his hand. While another man draped in a black cloak that defied gravity and lifted him into the air had a gush of black liquid spread out away from him enveloping all monsters in a 30 meter radius instantly melting through their defenses and turning them into an acidic pile of mush. Kroft could barely believe his eyes but with his disbelief came a cold sweat that formed along his forehead. The memory of the slaughter that he had somehow survived before he entered Vex came back to him. He felt like he was right back to the helpless man he was before and in reality he was. What could Kroft possibly do against such enormously powerful people? An accidental misfire from any of those beings would instantly kill him and the little army of animals that he had created from the past couple of days looked like dust next to the milky way when it comes to the beings in front of him. The urge to run was creeping into Krofts heart, there was nothing for him to do here but die was what he kept popping up as a stray thought in the back of his mind.
BRM!
Kroft punched the tree he was standing next to with all of his strength. A pain shot through his knuckle as a bruise formed on the top of his hand. Kroft focused on the pain and took a deep breath in and then exhaled that same breath.
"Fuck…" Kroft whispered defeatedly as he jumped onto the back of Leo.
'Go' he commanded mentally but instead of running away from the town like any sane man Kroft did the exact opposite. He went against all of his instincts that were screaming for him to turn around and run away from such overwhelming power. Kroft ran into the hellhole of Monsoon.
At the same time
Aqual raised his hand and complex blue runes formed in front of him instantaneously. It expanded to hundreds of times of its original size and took over the sky. Icicles so strong that they could destroy concrete with a touch rained from the runes and pelted one of the giants the size of a skyscraper. The giant roared and covered its vitals with its humongous forearms. Next to Aqual a blonde haired man raised his arm as a sword of light appeared in his palm. The blonde man looked like a prince from a fairytale and the blinding sword of light only helped with his knightly appearance. He lunged forward past the dark haired and short Aqual and appeared as quick as light itself in front of the giant. He sliced at his wrist severing it from its arm and left a six fingered hand the size of a small house fall multiple stories to the ground. The giant roared in agony as it swung its fist much faster than any being of its size should be able to. Unfortunately for him he missed his swing at the blonde knight. At the same time though it was a fortunalilty because he wasn't aiming at the blonde knight. A red meteor that matched the huling giant's flaming appearance appeared on its palm halfway through his swing down. Its departure aimed directly at Aqual. Aqual quickly responded to the unexpected attack and created a several layered dome around him made of icy particles that quickly rotated. What he didn't expect was the ghastly amount of firepower behind the meteor as it ripped through the layers of the shield and pushed him to the ground. When he regained his senses he had his back against the ground with his head ringing.
"How dare you insignificant piece of shit hit me! I haven't been attacked like that since before my-" Aqual was cut off as he was forced to dodge the giant's stomp that didn't wait for him to finish his second rate complaint. The giant's roar sounded again, but this time it carried with it a focused beam of frequency that shouted toward the blonde knight with his shining blade. The knight quickly traveled in a streak of light away from the dilation of air that showed the whereabouts of the sonic attack but was stunned for a second when he discovered that it was following him. This stun decided his fate as a being arrived from behind him and pushed their hand through his chest grabbing his heart and crushing it creating a blackhole that sucked in the entirety of the blonde knight's body. A mass of black tendrils was all that was seen as it imploded on its own blackhole.
Aqual now felt something that he hadn't felt in a very long time. Unease. He wasn't fearful, he just didn't like the situation he was in now. He understood that he needed to finish off the giant and get away from the battlefield before that black blob of tentacles tried to sneak up on him like he did blondie. He quickly enveloped himself in a body of ice and transformed into a walking colossus that was three fourths the size of the giant. The ice was bright blue giving it and even the ground that touched it instantly shattered giving Aqual a sense of pride.
"Why don't you die you overgrown bonfire." Aqual snarled as he threw a punch toward the giant. To his surprise the giant's entire body grew fire all over and turned into a bright orange that protected him when his fist caught Aqual. A struggle was drawn out between the two colossuses like an arm wrestling match in a biker bar. Eventually though Aqual said fuck it and splintered his entire ice armor into millions of pieces that turned bright white. The giant roared in victory or at least for a millisecond before he was impaled by the millions of shards of ice and frozen in place. His body stood still in the air as his life slipped away from him before he could realize what happened. Aqual finally breathed a sigh of relief as he knew that his ultimate failsafe had brought him victory time and time again. He floated to the ground and arrived next to the foot of the body of the giant. To his surprise he found a man at the arm of the giant quite a distance away. He was keen to ignore him and quickly leave the battlefield before he needed to fight another battle in his weakened state when he saw the man mouth a word. His keen eyesight which he had always been complimented for by many people came in handy here but what the man said didn't make any sense.
'Does he think the fire giant is still alive? Why did he say ayo?'
