'Is she following me?'
Cadmus stopped in his tracks, pulling out the watch adorning his wrist as an excuse to check if it was true. Blair stopped too, chiming in and answering him before he could get a chance to speak.
"Aren't you going home yet? Can I say something for a moment?"
He didn't have to look at her to feel the burn of a blush on the back of his neck. The smile in her voice suited her so well that he wondered if she did care after all.
Not that it would ever matter to him.
"I thought we're not gonna talk to each other?" Cadmus asked. "Unless we're at class or we're with other people, that is."
"Just wanna say I had fun during biology class the other time," Blair replied. "And thank you for granting my request from two years ago."
