Chapter 6 - 6.0

"You must love my cooking very much huh? You've licked this clean, you see?" Luna beamed but the cat only sat there royally while staring at her in dead eyes.

After she had place for the washed rice grain in the rice cooker, she proceeded into preparing some ingredients for the pork. She was thinking sweet and sour with kimchi as side dish on it.

It took her an hour before she had placed the food in the table. Ofcourse the cat had its share and was being situated across her table.

"Let's eat now." Luna beamed at the cat while they proceeded on eating. For her, it was fun to see a cat who had human food and she was actually smiling when the cat ate its rice along with the main dish and the side dish. She even thought that it was actually a human in cat form. Maybe her grandma had send the cat to accompany her. She was thankful for that thought.

Later in bed, Luna was done to her night routine in the bathroom when she found out the cat already in bed, sitting royally while following her move.

"Oh I was thinking of buying you a cat bed but well, maybe we can share for a while." Luna said while proceeding into the other side of the bed and slid in the sheet. She turned to the cat then who tilted its head to her. "Yongie-ah, three days from now, I'll be coming home late since I'm opening my grandma's diner. I'll come here after school to feed you before I'll go to the diner until eleven in the evening."

The cat only looked at her in dead eyes while she heaved a deep sigh and looked at the ceiling.

"My grandma makes the best of food around here and many people actually liked it. Now that she was gone, I'm left to manage it." she turned to the cat, "What if they wont like my cooking?" she asked the cat worriedly and bit her lower lip.

The cat looked at its side before blowing its breathe like that of a human but Luna was too dazed to notice that. Instead, Luna heaved her own deep sigh too, returning her eyes to the ceiling with a huge fake moon illuminating in the dark. She reached towards it and smiled in somberness. Then her attention went to the cat when it meowed so gently .

"You think I'll do good in diner?" she asked it.

The cat meowed again, rather in bored expression but it didn't diminished Luna's excitement.

"Aigoo, what a very supportive cat. Come here, you." Luna gently grabbed the cat and petted it. "Of course I will do good. My little dragon said so with his meow."

The cat just tiredly let her do her thing , petting its head until she had enough.

"Do you see that moon, Yongie-ah?" Luna pointed at the fake illumination of the moon in the ceiling. "My grandma said it's me. She named me after it since I came into their life during the brightest moment of the moon. Grandma called me Luna, her moon in dark sky." Luna turned to the cat who actually had its head on the ceiling, staring at the fake moon plastered in there.

"And you are my Luna, Yong-ah. You came to me at the brightest moment of the moon last night. And you're lighting my way."

The cat turned its head to her and didn't meow in response since Luna was actually talking in closed eyes until she fell completely on her sleep.

"I picked a strong aura surrounding you lately, Luna." Bret said one time when they were having some lunch together in the canteen.

Luna chose to chew on her favorite kimbab that Cristine had offered her while eyeing Mikael who was having an argument with Dean .

"Why do you say so?" Cristine was the one to inquire.

"Your auras are muddled together. I can't tell its color now." Bret said seriously.

Luna raised her brows to that. "What color do I have now?"

"Dark. All dark." Bret said.

"What happened to my pink and green ones?" Luna asked while Cristine nodded, accepting over the fact that Bret would say the weirdest thing ever like their auras for example. Cristine had yellow one, a normal human being.

"They're there but it was overwhelmed with some sort of negative aura." Bret said as if actually seeing Luna's aura for real. "One with murderous intent. One who had sinned humanity. One with a vengeful spirit."

Luna and Cristine blinked at each other before their attentions went to TOP and Sean who eyed Luna's supposed dark auras.

"No. I don't think I can see any." Sean said before turning to Top who squinted now.

"Me neither." Top then said after a while then turned into Bret's direction . "It didn't matter if you say the weirdest thing, I'm still courting you. Hi." Top then flashed his sweetest smile to Bret which in turn made her frowned at him.

"You're the weird here, you monkey." Bret countered back.

Top just snickered. "Tell me, if my aura is yellow, what color is yours then?"

"Our family has blue aura." Bret said.

"Charming. Does that mean our child will have green aura then?" Top wiggled his brows to her. "You know, yellow plus blue will be green right?"

"Gosh you're so cheesy." Cristine rolled her eyes to Top while Bret agreed so.

"I can get cheesier than that, Chaerin-ah." Sean interjected.

"Oh please. Get lost will you?" Cristine scowled.

"Wae? My presence is your happiness, Chae. I don't want to deprive you any ounce of it." Sean defended while Luna laughed at the predicament of Cristine and Bret whenever these two brothers, TOP and Sean would caught to them at lunch.

Dean was different case since he was engaged to Mikael who was very clingy and persistent of making him love her for real more than being submissive to their parents' will for both of them.
