Chapter 32 - Chapter 32 : Ouch

Enjar was driving his cart through the forests, passing all of the trees and bushes that were around him. His expression was jubilant and bright, he looked satisfied with how things were going for him now.

Enjar's direction was to the city where he lived, the Spring Land City. At this moment, time was already at night. He could not be at the village forever, he had other schedules and plans to attend. Let them sink the new ideas and understanding so that he could employ them better. He had taken with him some things that he had obtained from the offices of the gang. He could only bring with him this much when his cart was just a small cart that had its limitations for the spaces and room.

He looked up at the sky, looking at the moon which was shining down toward the world with its little light that it had, but at least it did not make the world an absolute dark night. He grinned when he realized that all of this went better than he expected. Now that the problem with this scroll mission was on the way to be done, it was time for him to wait for a moment while doing something else.

He also had promised to his wives that he would be home tonight, so how could he break his promise even though he could fulfill it easily? If he had promised them to be back at night but he did not come back at all, then he would be truly making them worry. Yes, he might be safe and sound, but pity for them to be waiting anxiously for him to return, only for them to realize that he broke his promise. Especially when there was not an accident that occurred and what not, how could they not be sad and even being somewhat angry?

"As a man who loves my women dearly, how could this dashing king neglect his women at home, especially when it was at night? Puhahat!" Enjar laughed in the middle of the night, alone in the forests as if he was not even afraid of any ghosts. How could he be afraid? If he did not dare to even do this kind of thing, then what about his ambition? What about his goals when his ambition needed more courage than this!?

Afraid of the unseen, ghosts or such was one thing. But being afraid of bandits was more logical than ever. If he was being reckless, then he would lose his life at the most unexpected time. If he was being brave but acting dumb, then it was like asking for a suicide. Still, it seemed that Enjar was not even bothered by that.

His results of fighting against them before, two gangs you could say, was proof that at least he could protect himself and knew how to do some martial arts. But what if his enemies that hypothetically faced him here consisted of more than what he had faced earlier?

This world was vast and profound, how could he understand every nook and cranny of every place when he was just a human being? How daring for him to underestimate this kind of thing, then?

And that was the point. He did not underestimate anyone. He was just being confident. Either because he knew that those kinds of armies would not be found in this kind of place, either he knew the routes and the geography of this location that could determine how safe this place was, or it was because he was being confident from his own prowess.

Enjar shortly arrived in front of his house. He parked the cart into his stable. He rented it for a few days, so it was natural for him to be able to bring it home. He took a look at the main building, looking at the second floor in which there was a red orange light shining dimly inside a room.

There was a silhouette of a person, seemingly looking at him from above. Because of the moon that was shining in full moon, he could somewhat see some lines and parts of the face of that person and guess who it was.

He could tell that It was Vebi who looked at him with a warm gaze. Her eyes showed how she had been longing at him for this whole day. Either from how she just missed him, or it was because of worry.

She naturally knew how capable this husband of hers was. Although she only knew one or two things about him, she could judge just how amazing this man was. That was why she married him. What kind of a woman who does not want a husband that is capable, either to lead the household or to bring sustenance and living hood to the family?

Enjar smiled and waved his right hand to her. Vebi saw this and waved her hand lightly, seemingly quite embarrassed for some reason. Loving moments between lovers could only be seen by the participants itself to make the situation wholesome. If other parties saw their moments, it was natural for the lovers to be somewhat embarrassed.

For a woman who was raised in a closed household and being monitored by her family carefully, she never knew that just this one thing could actually bring this little excitement inside of her heart before she married him.

This little thing was making her smile fondly, as if she wanted to cherish this moment and remember it again when she was older to bring a little smile yet again. Her heart beat faster than usual, her eyes widened as she put her vision into the man below her room.

Enjar fastly entered the house, and he saw that Vebi was already in front of him, distanced by a few meters between them. He walked to her with a smile, and hugged her tightly.

"I'm home, Honey." Enjar said lovingly, while giving a little peck at the back side of her neck. Vebi felt his little kiss and found it to be surprising. Surprisingly good, to say the least. Surprisingly sure, because she did not expect that. His hands started to probe and fondle her body, seemingly trying to shape her body to his liking. Vebi blushed when she realized what he was doing.

She put her hands on his back, feeling his broad back that had carried the whole family's living by himself, bracing into the outside world and faced the outside of the house's problems, just like how a husband's responsibility was.

She could tell that the man was doing whatever the man could do to support her family on this day. She could understand just how busy he was and could even see a glimpse of his goal, to achieve great things that she did not have any clear pictures of how big was its scale.

She could only give support by mending his needs at home, to be a place where her husband could take a rest and be at peace after working hard for an entire day. She would take care of the business from the inside of the house, and her husband would take care of the affairs of the outside world.

Exactly like how a traditional marriage happened between the husband and the wife. She was very happy with how the marriage had walked so far. He treated her well and was full of affection everyday. He never for even once talked to her harshly, from small things to big things.

She probably had realized it, but exactly because of her caring attitudes, her obedience toward her husband, highly respecting his value and dignity as a man, and respecting his role as the leader of the family, those criterias helped Enjar greatly on how he would treat her respectively.

If a man did his best to make it work for the family, the woman also needed to do her best for her part too. Every gender had its own role, and we could not force a man to do a woman's work, vice versa. How could a normal healthy family have the women work outside while the man took care of the house? That kind of thinking was not even in her mind and Enjar for even in the slightest chance. Men born genetically to have stronger bodies than women for a reason.

And if a society forced the roles to be reversed, then depression was only one of the problems that would rise from that very absurd situation. When the wife prioritizes her boss rather than her husband, dressed better and beautifully every time she meets the boss and when she is with her husband, she dresses sloppily.

How can a man not be jealous if he was in that kind of situation!? Where is his dignity and worth as the husband who provides for the family then!?

He fulfilled her every need and she thought that she could not be happier and contend. He was protective toward her, from small things like how he did not even like the idea of other people lavishing her beauty, to the safety of her and her family. Truly a peaceful and happy life that she had right now.

"Ouch, ouch, ouch…" And it was at that time also, Enjar let out pained sounds.
