Irvyn was startled by the sound his ears caught, but he didn't expect to see what happened before his eyes. He turned around, and found Yvette having her head resting right on the window of the car.
"Did she just doze off on me?" He was too stunned to respond to that, only kept staring at the girl who was long gone wandering to her dreamland. "And here I was really about to blab some nonsense," he sighed at himself, looking back at his laptop screen.
The car kept moving ahead towards his home, and on the way, every time there were any speed breakers, the car had to bump a little, making her head bump against the window every time.
"Ouch," Yvette mumbled and winched in pain every time that happened to her. Of course, Irvyn couldn't pretend he didn't hear any of that, as there was barely any sound inside the car, and the outside noises aren't able to penetrate through it.
