Yvette stopped in her steps and turned around to face him. Her face clearly said that she didn't get any of the things Irvyn just said to her. "Do you need me to say something?"
"Why would I need anything?" Irvyn snapped out at her response. What does she mean, he needs something? He was trying to help her out of the embarrassment she might be feeling in her mind, and she is going to act like that now? "You see, something letting it out makes things less intimidating than it seems."
Yvette stared hard at him, having a complex look on her. She thought she was the one feeling sleep deprived, but he looked like he had never known what sleep is for years. "That must have wrecked his brains," she thought to herself. Someone, she started feeling pity for him.
"I'll just… make something to eat for you, okay?" Yvette let out a sigh before heading back into the house, leaving the flabbergasted Irvyn alone on the lawn.
