Irvyn woke up to the sound of a light tap on his bedroom door. He had always been a light sleeper, so even a little sound like that was enough to make him wide awake. That was partly the reason why he never used an alarm, because Aunt Suzy would always wake him up on time.
"Yes, I'm up." He got up, stretching his body a little bit before getting out of bed. But when he opened the door, he was shocked to see Yvette outside of his room instead of Aunt Suzy. "Y-you?"
"Good morning, Mr. Collins. Aunt Suzy had called me late at night yesterday, saying she might need a few more days to stay in there. And since I was… ahhem, aware of your schedule, thought might wake you up since I was already awake." Yvette cleared her throat a little bit, looking away from him. "It's time for your morning jog, right?"
