Chapter 11 - NEW LIFELINE

"Erm! Finally, I can get out of that cramped room… who are you?!" She warily took out a pair of wings made of leaves and flew over my little head.

"Lavanya?" Black Pearl, guess.

I was surprised the third time the Black Pearl's form appeared, and it still left a terrifying and creepy feeling from its aura. Still, the Lavanya happily embraced a black figure whose back was decorated with stabbing spears.

"Black! Black! Forgive me! If I were stronger, I probably wouldn't have left you!"

Suddenly a cry broke out on the Black Pearl's shoulder. Her sobs were deep as if she had done something important in her life.

Even though I think I still don't understand what she means but at least her cry is a sign of deep sadness when she sees the Black Pearl in front of her.

"So… sob! Who is this girl?"

I wanted to answer her question, but pain held my lips to answer her question.

"She was the chosen one." With just three words, the beautiful fairy woman was shocked and covered her mouth with a ghastly look.

"The Enchanters?" she asked again in a low voice to the Black Pearl.

Black Pearl just nodded. Suddenly she came and knelt in front of me, who was lying limp.

"I'm sorry, but before that, you should at least be healed. What happened to make things like this?" Lavanya asked Black Pearl.

The Black Pearl briefly told me about my current state. How could she not be surprised to see a bald woman with a head full of tiny holes, broken ribs, and legs?

Then the woman hugged me and put my head on her chest while singing a song. My heart is calm, and the feeling of dread that always haunts me is instantly gone. My broken bones are back to normal.

"Finally, I found peace, even if only for a moment," I thought.

He touched my bald head with his Hawthorn's hand when my body was fixed.

"Hold this! Maybe the sensation will be a little different."

Without warning, she directly touched my head, as I knew Hawthorn's hand was as strong and sharp as Jervin's.

She's hands caressed my head and made my scalp hurt quite deep. It was such an excruciating pain that my body was made to spasm by it.

It was long enough that I couldn't take the pain anymore and fell unconscious.

A few moments later.

"Ouch! My head? Safe!"

I've been waiting for a voice, a feeling ever missing, a hand, a body part I've longed for. Correct! It was the sound of my hair flowing beautifully with the texture of black curls hanging over my head.

"Thank you! Thank you!" I hugged tightly to my new long lost hair.

When I finished releasing the longing, I rushed out of the underground ruins using the power of the Black Pearl. When the sun lit my eyelids, I immediately ran to the river to see what had happened to my body.

"Hmm… yeah!" I jumped for joy like a child whose wish had come true. The holes and cuts on my face had disappeared entirely, but my face was no longer the same when I looked at my face at Grandma's house.

"Wow! How mature this body is. Previously this lump of meat wasn't that big. Hmm."

"Hera! Can you stop massaging it!" shrieked the Black Pearl suddenly.

"Hehe, you're just embarrassed to see Hera has inherited this beauty of my body, right? Right?" Lavanya teased.

Black Pearl was silent; I looked at my face again, something odd.

"Hmm, everyone! I want to confirm something," I asked.

"Just say it!" they both answered.

"Where are my eyeballs?"

They fell silent.

"Isn't your sight still there?" asked Black Pearl, who wanted to escape my question.

"True, but where are my eyeballs?"

"Destroyed!" Lavanya replied firmly.

"Are you serious?"

"Yes, all this time, you saw with the eyes of the Black Pearl, so when I healed it without me knowing, your eyes had been destroyed, and the Black Pearl replaced it with a black pearl instead," explained Lavanya.

"D-don't you like it?" implored Black Pearl.

"Hmm? At least I can see it again. Thank you!"

Suddenly Black Pearl fell silent.

After my body was clean, a thin and long crystal appeared on my forehead.

"Eh? What's this? Why is this sticking to me?"

"Hahaha, you won't be able to take it off!" Lavanya's arrogant laugh.

"What do you mean?" I asked again.

"The pearl contracts on its body, and it sticks to your skull," Lavanya replied threateningly.

"Lavanya, stop your jokes. Hera, a stone on your forehead to make it easier to use his Lava power. To activate it, you have to make a contract as you did to me in the palace."

Black Pearl's words confused me. She explained a story I didn't know. In my memory, only the ridiculous incident of the queen that I remember when I woke up from fainting.

"Hadun karamzi kal aimanik kudaf! Do you remember the contract?" asked Black Pearl.

"Wow, what a great Enchanter," said Lavanya.

"What's so great?" I sneered at her.

"Do you know? He has never made a contract on a human, though," she explained.

"So, how do I make a contract with you?" I asked Lavanya.

"Easy enough, you just say 'Iminim kizim ruiruija!' easy isn't it?! And move like this." Lavanya performed a unique dance for me.

"What language do they speak? I might dislocate my tongue in making it, "I thought.

"Okay, I'll do it."

"Lavanya, isn't that a difficult contract for you to give humans?" asked Black Pearl.

"I started to believe it when I saw you giving her a taboo contract," Lavanya replied.

"Iminim kizim ruiruija!"

The atmosphere became quiet. Nothing happened.

"Am I wrong? Or was my move wrong?" I asked skeptically.

"You didn't do anything wrong, honey!" Lavanya replied.

Since nothing happened, I didn't think about it again. Then we discuss where our next destination is.

"How about we go back to Zavax?" I asked.

"Do you want to near death?" said Black Pearl.

I just smirked.

"Looks like we have to take your clothes, Black," Lavanya interrupted.

"Hah?! Are you kidding? That creature has taken him high up somewhere," murmured the Black Pearl.

"So you're going to get him killed so easily?" Lavanya taunts.

"We will have to gather suitable materials for her. Hera will accommodate all of us; without those materials, her body would probably be destroyed," replied Black Pearl.

The two of them were arguing in my body non-stop as the questions and answers kept coming. Until they finally decided something.

"All right, we will head south from this town!" Lavanya said.

"Hera?" Lavanya's soft call I heard, and I pretended to be asleep until they came to me.

Maybe this will be quite a long journey for a woman my age. Whatever it is, I will do my best. Grandma, look at me!
