Hu coughed, Mr. Yang was going too far. Although violence wasn't the right choice, yet he must protect his sister, as a family member.
"Mr. Yang, I am not defending them but you can hear them before judging, besides everyone makes mistakes."
Mr. Yang shook his head in disappointment, one of the looks that Bella didn't want to see.
"What if we promise not to make one more mistake?"
Dan was almost begging them. It was just the beginning of begging, tomorrow they were supposed to beg more in front of the manager.
"Then solve it with your university, if they forgave you, I have nothing to say. But if they rusticate you, there will be no help from our side."
"Good idea." Maria Yang agreed with her husband, her eyes were on Hu, waiting for him to speak with her.
Hu stood up and his eyes averted on his mother, "can we talk?"
The woman was presented by heaven after gaining what she yearned for. Besides, their girl must stay alone with her husband.
Maria Yang left her chair and followed her son to the yard, she caught the passionate look of Mrs. Liu. Calling her last night, the woman believed that Hu had changed too much lately and it was a good time for her to approach.
As they left, Bella jumped up from the seat and rushed to her father, kneeling before his knees, and said, "father, I did not mean to hurt her, she had done so many things that consider crimes but I have no clue, she came along and insulted us."
Mr. Yang sighed, yet violence wasn't the correct path she had picked.
Grabbing her arms, he led his girl stand and caressed her hair.
"Forgive us, Dandan, I must talk to this troublesome girl."
Mr. Yang persuaded his daughter out and Dan remained there.
Smiling bitterly at it, a family! In the end, they could settle with each other, and resolve things and she was confident that Mr. Yang would not leave his daughter alone, he menaced but he did always show up when the girls were in hot water.
Recalling her father's face, she tried to push down her gulp, her father seemed to be happy, thus why did he leave her? Was he dead?
"Why are you all alone, sister Dan?"
Dan turned back and gazed at Bam, he was wearing a black T-shirt and Chuan was in a gray suit, his hand in his pocket like always.
"Good Morning!"
She wasn't yet intimate with them thus, it prevailed to be a bit uncomfortable.
"Good Morning, Sister Dan," Chuan replied, his tone dry like already and his eyes traveling on the table, he was counting the dishes.
"Do you have guests?"
"Yes, Bella's parents are here."
The young men dragged the chairs back for themselves when Mrs. Liu appeared and had a tray in her hand. She knew they were coming and placed their dishes warm until they arrived.
"My dear, Welcome back."
Placing the dishes for them, the woman smiled and added, "eat well."
"Thank you, Mrs. Liu."
Bam thanked and the woman left the room with a wide smile and blushed face.
"Did you eat sister?"
"Yes, please enjoy yourself."
She kept her head low and the men ate in silence as they were done, Bam looked at her. She didn't look like a random girl but as being from a normal stratum of society, What did Anastasia want from her? Jealousy? No, it couldn't be just jealousy to do such cruelty and take away her fiance. Qiang wasn't in love with that girl, he loved this girl.
"Sister, how do you feel? You didn't get hurt, did you?"
Dan blushed, they knew that she was pregnant and possibly realized about her sudden marriage to Mr. Qin.
"I am fine, but I think I had dropped my friend into trouble."
"Don't think of it, trouble seeks us to make us stronger. Life will be boring without it." Bam commented.
Unlike him, the other man was quiet, scrolling up and down on his phone.
She just remembered that her cellphone was out of battery and turned off when they came back. She didn't even bother to charge it and check the highlights.
"Is there any news about Bella and me?"
Chuan shook his head, "we solved that last night, however, there might be some people out there that downloaded the video. But there is an article about Qiang, he gambled, again, and some bad guys beat him to death."
His eyes rolled on the girl, testing her, she was startled and just blinked, but was not surprised. Does she know about Qiang's addiction, or was she just glad that he was beaten? Her face was blank!
Dan's heart twitched but she clenched her fists to suppress her fury, that rascal was a gambler? Did he think that her life was the same? A game to be played? How stupid she was! There were many mysteries about him and when an article was out, he used to say that they were all scandals.
"He deserved it, anyway, let's not talk about low-lewd stuff," Bam changed the topic, "sister, tell me if you need anything, I am also a law student."
Interesting! Her attention quickly ran to Bam, his look wasn't saying that he did care about studies at all! He was more like a pop icon.
"Oh, I marveled, I thought you studied fashion, are you in our university?"
He shook his head, "no, I was in fashion like Chuan and Hu but it wasn't my taste. I got no talent in fashion so I quit quickly and studied law but as I am younger, I came back to continue my studies here."
"Yet, you are our senior."
Bam nodded, "yes, I am year three. How is it going on in your university?"
"Everything was going well until yesterday, I doubt if we can survive the matter."
Bam peeked at Chuan, he was still keeping his head on the articles.
"Don't worry about that, I doubt if Mr. Chen wants his daughter on the highlights."
Dan didn't get what he meant, she had talked to Mr. Chen once and the man was scary with an enormous dangerous aura that she forgot to breathe. She doubted if he feared something. But the man was strict toward Anastasia.
"I hope it all goes well, I don't want to lose my chance to be an attorney."
Bam smiled warmly, "no worries, you won't lose it, my brother wouldn't let this happen."
