"H-Hey! Where are you putting your hands?!" Aki Kitsune blurted out loudly as his face flushed red. In his embarrassed shout he almost lost the sucker from his mouth.
Aki Kitsune was relaxing on their bed while Felix was laid down beside him on his side. Felix had his head propped up on his hand while his free hand was exploring Aki's body under their blanket and even Aki's clothing. It was not that they had never done anything together considering they have been living together for a few years now but regardless of how many days they've slept side by side his actions always seemed to cause Aki to react in such a manner that it would only entice Felix more when they were alone.
"You'd think by now you'd be use to the things I do to you." Felix smiled with joy in his heart to feel Aki's body warmth so close beside him. He could see the blush on Aki's face as his brow twitched with attempt to think of his next words. All that came back from Aki at first was a incoherent grumble to himself.
"So stubborn.." Aki's voice came through to Felix causing him to laugh under his breath.
"Coming from you?" Felix couldn't help but laugh as he rolled over onto his back. His amusement at those words caused Aki to feel even more embarrassed as he jolted up from where he had been laid down.
Aki felt so annoyed at him laughing at what he said that he climbed off the bed to walk away. At the sight of him leaving though he found a warm arm wrapping around his waist to pull him back onto the bed against Felix's warm chest. As his head turned to gaze at the man their eyes connected and he released a heavy sigh. The smile on him was so full of tenderness for only Aki and it made his heart want to burst forth from his chest. He was not sure how long he would remain in the mortal world but his time on earth with Felix were surely becoming the most cherished memories in his heart.
"Where do you think you're going?" Felix asked with a teasing tone to his voice that was obvious what was on his mind. It was not hard to change the mindset of someone who was once a playboy after all. Felix might had given up the life style he once lived when they met each other but he still had the energy of a young stallion when they were alone in their home.
"Don't you need me to check on THAT?" Aki responded and stuck his tongue out at Felix. The man frowned slightly as he remembered the guest that had been staying with them the past few days.
"You have to remind me of that problem.." Felix sighed heavily. "Fine.. You go deal with that and I'll head down for the bar. It's almost time for me to check in anyways."
Aki Kitsune's body felt a sudden chill as the warmth of Felix's arm set him free to leave the bed. It only reminded him of things that he knew would one day come that he did not wish to see happen. There was not a thing Aki could do the change the future though no matter how much he wanted to. Felix had no idea what Aki really was and Aki did not want to ruin things between them by him finding out the truth either. He simply wanted to enjoy his days with Felix while they lasted.
"Felix.." His name slipped out of his mouth before Felix could completely leave the room causing the man to come to a halt while expecting him to further his words.
"Yes?" Felix responded. He could tell that Aki was feeling troubled about something though he refrained from asking about it. If Aki wanted to tell him something he assumed he would because that was how they were with each other. Felix would never pry into anything that had to do with Aki as long as it was not something he had to get involved with. There was no way he would allow something to happen to Aki if he could prevent it but he knew he could never truly tame Aki's heart to stop being someone who caused problems all over for Felix to clean up.
"If one day.. I had to leave.. What would you do?" He let out the one question he was truly curious about. He knew how much he cared for Felix even if he did not want to but he had never once heard the man speak about his feelings for Aki. When it came to mortals he knew they had words to express their emotions for each other but when it came to Felix and Aki neither of them had ever once spoken those three words.
"Your leaving?" Felix asked with a look of doubt. He was not sure what was bringing on Aki's sudden question. It made him wonder if Aki was seriously considering trying to leave him behind and go somewhere. There was not a doubt in his mind that he could never tolerate a life without him in it together and it was not something he wanted to even think of in the slightest.
"Hypothetical question.. but seriously.."
"If the day came where you tried to leave me to put it simply.. I wouldn't allow it. Do not speak of such a thing ever again. You are mine, Aki. I don't care who tries to hurt you. I don't care what tried to tear us apart. When it comes to you I don't need words nor do I need you to express anything for me because your heart is already mine just as mine is yours. Now be on time getting home tonight or I'm cutting off your sweets." Felix stated out bluntly for Aki to hear as he pulled Aki's sucker from his mouth and popped it in his own. Turning his back to leave he could hear only silence as he left Aki sitting there on their bed in thought so deep that he left his mouth open without so much of a gasp at the realization that his sucker had just been stolen again by Felix.
