Chapter 12: Let Me Help You Luna
"Hmmn"
He just nodded at her not wanting to give her any impression whether he had believed her or not because even he was confused about the situation.
"Who was the person that wanted to molest you the other time?"
Lora was really surprised by his question just now.
She gasped in pleasant surprise and shock.
She felt that he really cared about her and had paid attention to her, he may not show it, but truth is he cared for her, she was very thrilled at his question.
"Armmmm arm. …."
She stammered thinking of who she should call had tried to take advantage of her.
But since there was no one, she had nothing to say, she did not think he would care about her that much, surely he must want to avenge her.
Her eyes moved from the curtain that was hung against the door and the dressing mirror that had his lotion and other masculine cream observing the products label.
"Do you not know the person"
He was already getting impatient with her lack of answer not knowing that he actually gave her an idea as to how to answer her question.
"Yes.. Alpha Adam, I didn't see the person clearly, he must have not been from here, maybe one of the guests that came here, I don't know…. I must have been drugged"
"Hmmn, you may go"
"That's it? You want me to go?"
"Yes"
"Okay I'll go to the parlour where Luna Oksana is, I will be back later though"
She said with a broad smile on her face before heading for the door.
He may not have been convinced entirely that she was his mate, still that did not deter her.
She was even more determined to convince him that it was her who he had marked that night, and to get to him, she had to use all the means she could get, even if it included his mother.
With a mischievous smile on her face she exited his room.
"Lora?"
"Yes my Alpha Adam"
She said in the most slurry way thinking that he was going to call her back to stay with him.
"Are you sure there was no one else with us; a maid perhaps?"
She greeted her teeth when she heard what he had asked her just now, it went contrary to his actions.
Either he remembered or that he doubted her.
Both ways, she thought that she needed to find that maid and crush her before Alpha Adam does, otherwise she would be a laughing stuff in front of the omegas and the entire Shark pack.
"No, never would I let that Happen" she thought.
"No Alpha, there was no one else, I would have remembered"
"Hmn"
With that, she went out of his presence and headed for the parlour while Alpha Adam went to the bathroom to freshen up before coming downstairs.
"Aunty Luna Oksana, have the guests gone already? I wanted to help you see them off since someone was not so thrilled to see you"
Lora walked to the side of Luna who stood in front of the kitchen and was talking with Lisa.
Luna Oksana clenched her teeth when she heard the loud sweaty voice of Lora interrupting the conversation she was having with Lisa.
"Lora, I was just talking with Lisa here to gather the omega servants that worked in the kitchen last night, we got very good report from the guests that the food served was delicious, so I want to appreciate them"
"Wow, this is very good aunty, do you want me to help you, you must be very tired, the Luna should not enter the Omega quat as by herself and it would be a huge burden to bring every one of them here, you can just send me on your behalf, I'll deliver the message for you and congratulate them for a job well done, I will even go to the quarters and meet them there"
Luna Oksana was very pleased to hear what Lora had said, it had just been a day after she was marked but she immediately started acting mature towards things around.
"Maybe I misjudged her, she would be very good Luna, she just needs little training and moral advice"
Luna thought to herself when she saw the zeal Lora came to her with.
She wanted to doubt her actions, but at the end, she decided to give her a chance to earn her trust, since it was just to meet the omega, the lowest rank of wolves, it would not be a big deal.
"I am sure nothing will happen" she said then instructed the servant carrying the bonus to be handed to the omegas to follow Lora and do what she said.
After making sure everything would be taken care of by Luna Oksana, she went to the dining table to meet her husband who had taken a seat at the head table to have his breakfast.
Lora was led by Lisa and two other guards to the omega quarters.
"Eww shit"
She cursed wanted to immediately go back when she saw how dirty and unkept the place was, it looked like a refugee camp of people that were displaced from a battle.
Rotten tomatoes were seen on the floor, the entire building looked like it was going to fall and even the paints had already fallen off.
Lora felt disgusted, by being there, the hairs of her skin were sticking up alarming her that she should not be there.
"Why did I even say I would meet them here?"
"Because you wanted to be Alpha Adam's Luna So bad"
Hee inner wolf told her and she had to admit it was damn right, she wanted it so bad that she was willing to go to this extent.
She believed only the people of low standard, those who were not worthy of living like normal people such as omegas were suitable for this lifestyle and not her.
But she was adamant about it, going against her beliefs and principles, she stepped her foot in the hall of the place where she would be meeting them.
Besides, she had other plans that included a little maid who was marked.
"We are here Miss Lora, we'll just assemble them all"
Hmmn she only nodded and took a seat at the only good looking chair in the hall, it was relatively newer and cleaner than every other thing there, clearly it was a seat for someone of importance.
She couldn't care less who the seat was for as she observed the few omegas that had started gathering in the place.
Like a queen, Lora sat so majestically on the seat that was meant for Luna and paid attention to the maids that came in.
She had checked the neck areas of those whose necks were exposed but did not see any one with a mark that looked fresh from last night.
