Chapter 17: He Says He Won't Bite Me

Following the door, he walked through the door and found himself at the artificial garden that was created by Luna.

He stood and for the first time observed his surroundings and actually taking in the beautiful and colorful variety of vibrant flowers, he felt very peaceful and comfortable just being there.

The morning dew on the plants were making it blossom and rose flowers were shining so bright decorating the garden with its distinct color.

The Lillies had a distant scent that filled his nose.

And for the first time, he stood there ignoring his original intentions for coming there and just appreciated nature, enjoying the beautiful looks in front of him and the scent of flowers.

Even the scent of lavender clouded his nose and it became the best scent for him among them all.

Walking around the pond that decorated the garden with reflections of the beauty surrounding, he found himself on the other side of it and he found out that he was not alone.

Eldora had finished cooking breakfast, she was done with her responsibilities for that morning.

Before it was time to go to the woods to get vegetable for the next meal.

She dreaded going back to the room because Anisstiki might compel her about why she was crying in the morning.

If she just sat on the hallways, she might easily be spotted by someone else, with the make up on her face, she felt uncomfortable for anyone to see her so she ran to the one place she always felt save.

Dropping the shovel and rake in her hand, she stood at a spot close to the pond but immediately regretted it.

She had came here to hide from her thoughts, wanting to forget what happened so bad, she did not think that being in the place will only remind her of it.

She stood there and touched the place where the bite mark was, she felt a pleasurable pain as if someone was tickling her, memories of his lips on her neck brought shivers down her spine.

And for the first time, Eldora wondered what it would have actually been like if it was her mate who had marked hee, she would probably be in his arms now lying somewhere comfortable and chatting about the name they would give their cub.

The thought of it warmed her heart and a sweet smile crept its way to her face.

Standing directly under the sun ray, with the pond reflection, her faced glittered and shone like she was an angel.

That was the scene Alpha Adam saw that made him stop in his track at the garden and be lost in awestruck at the beauty he had never seen.

Just like the other time, he observed her from a distance and wondered who this angel standing in front of him was.

He straightened his cloth, put his hands on his hair fi make sure it was nit scatter before he proceeded further to come close to find out who the young lady was.

Eldora was very much on alert now, she heard the sound of flowers cracking as someone speed on them.

She knew someone was there,'immediately, she turned to head for her cleaning tools just so that she could boldly say she was cleaning just as she had planned earlier and took the rake with her.

When Alpha Adam saw her turning, he thought she was running away from him so he called her back.

"Don't go, I won't bite you"

Eldora stoped in her track when she heard him say that, two things were running on her mind.

One: Alpha Adam had caught her in the garden again.

Two; why did he say he won't bite, did he recognize her?

A bitter smile appeared on her face by his statement, he won't bite her,

"Yeah right, it's not like you've done it already"

"What did you say?"

Although she said it out loud, hee vouce was so low that he couldn't make out the words she said.

"Oh nothing Alpha, I was just cleaning the garden"

She turned around but did not look at him in the eye, instead, she pointed to the direction of the rake, she went ahead to take them.

"Is it only you cleaning the garden?"

He had not been there as frequently and never saw the cleaning the garden, but he knew that it was too big for one person to clean except she was given the task as a punishment for something she did, then he would not be surprised.

He took a very good look at her side profile, her make up was a little, the foundation she applied was too much which meant she put a great effort on the make up.

Seeing her remain silent, it gave him the idea that his thoughts were right, she was indeed given a punishment.

He wasn't surprised at all remembering that she was the lady that he saw earlier

"First you have arguments with your fellow omegas and then you do something again that would cause you to be punished like this, you must be a stubborn Omega"

Her lips twitched at his statement, she had raised her head to see the expression on his face when he called her a stubborn omega, he was disgusted by it.

It was like a torn was used to prick her heart. She felt bad that he saw her with great disgust, never in her three years of living in the Shark park had she regretted being referred to as an omega
