Mr Morris who was supposed to travel for the next two days arrived a day after he read the letter written by ariel. Words had reached Andrew ears of the personalities of the king and he didn't want the girl whom he had develop feelings to be one of The King's prey.
Andrew went straight to the village magistrate working house,
"knock knock"andrew knocked and then he opened the door afterwards,
he saw his father with some documents like he was going through them.
"So you remembered you have a father, Andrew " he said this looking at his son's eyes
"of course,afterall my father isn't dead that I'll have to forget him" Andrew said taking a seat opposite his father.
"You know you should pay me a visit often, so you won't regret it while I'm gone"Mr Morris said
"Don't be a drama queen, father,you know I've been stressed up with work lately and didn't get the time to,moreover, I didn't come over to chitchat but for the purpose of that same work "Andrew said
"Work?what work,here I was thinking you came to visit your old man" Mr Morris said.
"Words have reached my ears of how the king abducted a lady from here,is that so?"Andrew asked his father keenly looking at him
"The news haven't reached my ears but when it does I'll be sure to keep you updated but even if what you said were true,he ...is afterall a king"Mr Morris said
"That still doesn't give him enough right to take someone out of their own will,I will make sure to investigate on the matter more and update the council" Andrew stood up and straighten his cloth to remove any crease or rumple.
"I will take my leave now,father " he said this with a slight bow which his father returned afterwards.
When Andrew was to go out ,his hand was already on the doorknob on his father's office twisted ,he heard his father said
"What does the girl mean to you anyway I rather you not involve yourself in matter concerning the king, I hear he is not okay"
Ariel was just coming back from helping her mother in buying some veggies in the market when she crossed path with Vanessa
"looks like someone is too blind to not notice me" Vanessa said irritated
"Are you talking to me,Vanessa?"Ariel asked
"are you also deaf?who else would I be talking to, if not you, ariel"Vanessa said irritatingly
Vanessa was a girl who likes the attention, she was a redheaded woman with mundane characteristics who felt threatened by Ariel hence her attitude
"please let me be, I'm in no mood for your tantrums maybe we could continue this another day"ariel said this walking past Vanessa
"oh,oh I forgot,what about that your slut of a friend who succeeded in killing her mother, I haven't seen her for some days now or is she with a man in broad day light fucking?"vanessa said.
immediately ariel heard this she became furious but still kept her cool,she turned her back and went back to Vanessa,
"could you repeat what you just said,Vanessa " Ariel said

"you can believe what you seem fit but I know janette isn't in anyway like you"ariel said looking composed,she continued
"I never knew old men was were your heart lies,Vanessa, I saw how u enjoyed devouring the village magistrate,Mr Morris,you were so good at it,here I was thinking you were someone decent"ariel deadpanned.
Vanessa who heard this was petrified and in plight wondering how ariel found out
"how...how did...."Vanessa said before she was interrupted
"You should have listened when I said you should let me be but because of your loquacious and stubborn nature you didnt listen"ariel left there with Vanessa feeling stupefied and dumbfounded.
