I heard a very disturbing noise from outside my study, I tried waving it off but I just couldn't let it pass, interfering in people's business was never my cup of tea, but there was something different about the noise this time definitely making it my cup of tea

Seeing her sit on the floor stroke a cord in me, my anger rose like a whirl wind, I grit my teeth and clenched my fist.
"How could she let herself be treated that way, how could she be that vulnerable" I thought.
I wanted to help her, I wanted badly to protect her, but my legs fail me to move
