Ashley got a call from the office in Colorado concerning an emergency, she had to be in Colorado almost immediately,the business woman instinct in her could not let her forego the about to be signed contract with Jay, I watched her pace around restlessly, the deal with jay was very important and so was the deal in Colorado, she abruptly halted.
"Yes! Steph there is a solution" she said.
She walked to me, looked into my eyes and held both of my hands:
"Steph I need your help, you are the only one I can trust, the solution to the issue currently is that you stay behind to represent me till Jay is done reviewing the contract you are my PA anyway" she said
She squinted her eyes and leaned to look into my eyes deeper, she deduce the objection, uncertainty and worry in them.
"Steph I know it is difficult being here especially around Jay, but please help me this once and I'd make it up to you" she said.
