(A/N There will be a large time skip this chapter as I don't want to do elementary school years)

Narrator POV
Calgary, Alberta, Canada
It is early morning in Calgary, the sun has barely shown itself and its rays are slowly starting to brighten the large Canadian city. Inside a two-story house that seemed to be made of a mix of wood and brick with a garage in its back yard, a young girl starts to stir. The girl has long raven black hair and from the outline on her bedsheets is above average height for even boys her age. Her eyes slowly open and the world is greeted by a pair of beautiful pink eyes. As she slowly seems to gain her baring and sit up from the bed the light finally shines unto her entire face. Long eyelashes and skin with no blemishes come unto view. The girl slowly crawls out of bed, proving the previous assumptions of her height to be correct, she changes out of her two-piece pyjamas and into a more comfortable outfit. The outfit consists of black sweatpants, a white and somewhat oversized shirt with a pink skull in the middle of it, a black and red windbreaker and finally, a golden necklace placed around her neck. The girl looks in the mirror at her outfit and thinks to herself. (A/N I'm basing it off of Mori's outfit in this pic, remind me if I forget to add the image)
Sarah Willaims (MC) POV
'God damn!' The girl now identified as Sarah Williams obviously thought highly of her current outfit. *Stomach Grumble* "Oh guess it's time to eat" speaking to myself out loud I head downstairs to make something to eat.
'What should I make for breakfast today?' Sarah thought to herself and soon came to a conclusion 'Guess ill just go with the classic eggs, bacon and hashbrowns, I've been making pancakes way too often recently' Concluding as I entered the kitchen I grabbed the food and began cooking (A/N I'll spare the details)
After finishing cooking I called for my parents "MOM! DAD! Breakfast is ready!" Not long after a tall black-haired man and a slightly above-average height red-haired woman came down the stairs.
"You don't have to make breakfast for us every day you know, you're just a kid." My mom speaks to me, slightly concerned and slightly disappointed that she rarely cooks for me anymore. "I know mom but when I wake up before both of you I want to be able to eat and alongside that, I also enjoy cooking which are two positives in my book" *Sigh* My mom sighs, giving up.
"I'm just glad that our daughter has finally found something she enjoys other than video games and watching those videos all the time Lilah (A/N I'm just adding an 'h' to her original name)" my dad spoke to my mom trying to show her the bright side of me finding a hobby in cooking "And you have to admit that her cooking is really good too," He says which makes me crack a smile in response
"I admit that her cooking is really good but it kinda upsets me that she no longer needs me to cook for her," my mom says with a hint of sadness in her tone as she takes a seat at the table "Sorry?" I say while questioning if I should even be apologizing
"It's not your fault sweety I'm glad you can do these things on your own I'm just sorta disappointed that I can't cook breakfast for you anymore," She says "but mom you always cook dinner so I don't get any chance other than breakfast to cook. Plus dinner is always so good when you cook it so don't be sad or disappointed." I say in an attempt to reason while still complimenting her to boost her mood "Thanks sweety" She says as she breaks out into a smile
"Can we eat already?" my dad finally speaks up "the food will get cold at this rate." I look down at my food and see that it is cooling down so I decided to dig in.
15 minutes later
'Mmm that was good' Getting out of my chair I grab my parent's plates and utensils and put them in the dishwasher. After that, I start to wash the pans that I used to make breakfast. I quickly finished that and went over to the living room and started to play flappy bird and some other games on my iPhone 4 for a couple of hours.
Time skip: leaving for school
"Sarah! It's time for school!" my dad's voice called out for me from the back door "Okay dad!" Quickly turning off my phone I ran towards the back door and quickly put on my Jordans, hat and backpack.
Running out to the garage I open the door to see my dad starting up his black Ford F-150 so I quickly hop in the passenger seat. "You excited kiddo?" My dad asks me "Of course dad, after all, it's my first day of Junior High!" (A/N Middle school) I say to him in a happy tone (A/N some of you may be wondering why the mc is acting like it's his first time in a school. Keep in mind that it has been thousands, maybe millions of years since he has been to school. Now he will have no problems with the education, just the experience is exciting for her) "That's good to hear" he replies
The rest of the drive is pretty much silent except for the radio playing. Soon we pull up to the front of my new school for the next three years Sir John Franklin School. (A/N actual school btw. It had a Phoenix as a logo so I had to choose it.) "You ready Kiddo?" My dad asked "Yup!" I respond quickly "That's good, I'll come in for the first bit of the introduction and then I'll have to go to work," dad tells me "Umu, now let's go!" (A/N Wait, what? Fine, I'll allow it.) Practically slamming the door open I get out of the truck and start to walk toward the school, excited to see what will happen in the next three years.

Authors Note
Sorry, I haven't posted a chapter in a while, I had major writer's block and anything I tried to write came out bad so I waited for a bit until I had some idea of where I was gonna go with this chapter. Also if you notice anything that I could improve on please let me know as I was writing at 3 am (Which for some reason is always the time that I write best) so I probably missed some things. Anyways I hope you liked it!
