Narrator POV
"Sarah! We're home!" A woman with long red hair and beautiful pink eyes called out into her house. A tall black-haired man with brown eyes was standing not far from her hanging up their coats. Soon after the woman called out a young girl with black hair and pink eyes came into view as she walked down from the second floor.
"Mom, Dad! How was work?" The girl after spotting the couple ran up and hugged them. "It was good kiddo" The man reached out his hand and ruffled her hair. "How was school?" The woman asked gently "It was great! I even made a new friend!" The girl was almost jumping around in excitement as she told her parents about the day.
"That's great kiddo" Chuckling a little the man continued "You should bring them over some time so we can meet them" The man's eyes gained a strange glint but vanished quickly. "But dad they are already over" The girl tilted her head a little making her mother quickly take a photo but for the man, it was a different story.
"O-Oh then why don't you introduce us?" With a strained smile, the man asked his daughter "Sure! Alice! Can you come here please!" The man's previously strained smile relaxed a little hearing his daughter's words but they also caused another reaction altogether. 'Is she a lesbian?' His thoughts must've been seen through by his wife as he soon got a smack across the back of his head.
Alice POV
"Alice! Can you come here please!" Hearing Sarah call out to me I was confused but started to head downstairs. "I'll be back in a sec" I said to Saya and left the room. 'I wonder why she called me?' Thinking this I started to walk down the stairs.
Turning the corner and heading into the living room I immediately see two other occupants of the room other than Sarah. 'Her... parents?' My thought was answered pretty quickly. "Mom, Dad, this is Alice. My new friend from school." Realizing that I should introduce myself I gave a slight bow (A/N Rich British girl thing, at least in this story) and spoke.
"Nice to meet you I am Alice, Sarah's friend" They seemed a little surprised at my accent and how formal I was but got past it quickly. "No need to be so formal Alice, you're friends with Sarah after all" Sarah's mother spoke while walking toward me "I'm Lilah, Sarah's mother. The man over there is her father, Lucas"
Looking over where Ms.Lilah was pointing I saw a taller man whose eyes were constantly shifting between me and Sara. His eyes seemed cautious whenever he looked at me which confused me as I saw no reason for the man to be so cautious. Though that soon stopped when he finally spoke. "It's nice to meet you, Alice. I have a question, are you from Britain?"
'It seemed that he is not one to beat around the bush' Nodding my head I say "Yes I am. I moved here when I was 8 years old with my parents and have lived here ever since" Mr.Lucas lightly nodded and said "I've been to the UK on business a couple of times so I found your accent familiar. Did you live in London?"
"Yeah. I lived in Westminster" I saw his eyes slightly widen but before he could say anything Sarah cut in the conversation "That Westminster! Like the super-rich people part of London!" (A/N if I am wrong in this statement please let me know. I just googled what part of London was the most expensive to live in and Westminster was the one that came up.)
*Giggle* "Yes. The super-rich people part of London" Sarah's eyes slightly widened making me start to giggle once again "I mean I already guessed that you were wealthy but not that wealthy!" Sarah gasped and started to walk around me in a circle. "I guess you really do have that 'I am a rich person' feel about you when I think about it" I started to break out into a laugh from her behaviour.
"You're laughing at me aren't you!? She's laughing at me, isn't she!" She looked back at her parents while pointing at me and her parents started to break out into laughter as well. "Ah for f*cks sake. Fine laugh all you want" She had a very small pout on her face which looked adorable and I ran up and hugged her, completely unaware of how it looked to the only man in the room.
(A/N okay I know some of you might mention how the MC was a character who had lived for a long time so this seems out of character so I'll give some context as to why MC is acting like this at the end of the chapter)
"You seem to be having fun" A female voice called out from the stairs. "Ah, Saya you were here as well? How have you been?" Ms.Lilah called out to Saya. "I've been well, Ms.Lilah and you?" Saya walked toward Sarah while talking to Sarah's mom. "I've been good though Sarah has been a little troublemaker recently"
*giggle* "You can't change someone's nature, Ms.Lilah. That's just who Sarah is" The two started to laugh a little. "Alice?" Saya called out to me soon after "Hmm? What?" Confused I waited for her to continue "How long do you plan to hug Sarah? You've been like that for a couple of minutes already" Looking toward Sarah I noticed I was still hugging Sarah and an atomic blush covered my face.
"Sorry" I stated apologetically while looking down "It's fine Alice. It didn't bother me" Sarah started to pat my head which only increased my embarrassment but I didn't stop her. "Hmm? Mom where did dad go?" Sarah asked her mom out of nowhere. "He left a couple of minutes ago while muttering something" *Sigh* "He needs some alone time right now" She stated while shaking her head lightly. "Okay mom"

Authors Note
New Chapter! I started a fanfic that I will be writing at the same time as this one but it takes longer to write those chapters for it than it does this one so my time will be divided between the two of them. This is the last chapter for this day and the next chapter will most likely be spread out over the course of a month within the story as I don't want to bore you with excruciatingly slow development.
Now about the reason, the MC was so childish. He spent most of his life fighting without any peaceful times so he decided to let himself loose without anything hindering him. He will have the other side of him but it is deeply buried at will only ever come loose if he ever needs to fight something. Yes the MC will always have a calculating and genius side to him but his attitude towards those he cares about and those he is close to is going to be all over the place as his mental state is not exactly stable.
