There was a weapon in my previous world that changed the entire history of human revaluations and wars. This weapon originated in my old world's 16th century and continued to evolve. The name of the weapon is t he pistol.
Well, I decided on it because I intend to use magic for the gun powder to fire them...or at least I believe I can.
As a result, I decided to use my free time to place an order with the blacksmith workshop.
"Ethan, come here!"
While I was thinking about this, my mother brought me breakfast, and Jin was going up and down my body.
I resolved to find a workshop to collaborate in the creation of mechanisms such as guns because I decided I needed to create several types of even more powerful weapons.
After all, this world was different from my previous world, and I made all of the plans and designs, but I lacked the metals and forging practice. Making even more powerful modern weapons took naturally more time and effort.
Of course, I wouldn't reveal the craft of making modern weapons to others; I only needed to hire a blacksmith to make the weapon components, and doing the final assembly myself was enough to keep the secret. It's impossible to know whether the smiths could even make what I wanted, let alone copy it.
However, I also do this because to develop this world as much as possible, but its not the time to reveal my knowledge into this world.
...
I finished my meal and set out for Atlas City, taking Jin and the designs with me. Eve seemed to be having a good time helping my mother, so I let them be.
Despite living outside of the city, the city is swarming with people. Although this is not my first visit, I am always surprised by how many people pass by.
Atlas City had a long history, and its overall appearance had been preserved in its original simplicity and unadorned elegance. Over the last several hundred years, the Vrisorid Kingdom has taken special care to preserve some of the more ancient structures. As a result, many millennia-old structures may be found in this ancient city.
As I approached the outpost, as I weaved my way through the crowd of heavily armored adventurers and robed merchants calling out the goods that they had collected. I made my way to a random merchant, clutching my excited snake buddy tightly, and quickly sold my worn and chipped sword for a few silver coins.
After that, I crept past the crowd and began asking questions.
I finally found my destination, Atlas City's largest workshop, after asking several passers-by. The name of this shop was very simple, "Atlas Smithy," with no additional words.
I could already hear the intense hammering noises without even entering the smithy, the sound concentrated and melodious. Clearly, there were a slew of blacksmiths at work inside.
And after hearing that, "Brdhur! Loud!" Jin appears to be agitated. So, channeling my mana to the Lifeful ring, "Go inside and rest! I'll call you back when I go back!", Jin himself jumped inside the ring.
This function occurred to me while Eve and I were travelling together. It's pretty good, similar to a spatial ring, but this ring can also hold living things. So I'm confident Jin will be safe within the pocket Dimension.
Following that, I entered the workshop, where in the large anteroom were various types of finished products arranged by type, divided into three large areas: everyday implements, weapons, and armor, respectively.
Everyday implements took up roughly half of the space, with the rest divided evenly between weapons and armor. The anteroom of the store was separated from the main work area by long black curtains three meters wide, with a white one meter in diameter 'iron' character that looked very imposing.
Six or seven lady assistants worked in the shop's anteroom, greeting customers, greeting those who arrived, and sending those who left. The division of labour was unmistakable. Some were in charge of greeting customers and conducting transactions, while others were in charge of delivering finished goods. In addition, a tall and sturdy middle-aged man sat behind a counter in charge of collecting money.
I began walking straight to the counter.
A lady shop assistant hurried over to meet me, obstructing me,
"Aww," the woman cooed as rushed over. "How old are you?"
"Eleven," I replied, flashing an innocent smile.
"And you're already going on errands by yourself?" she smiled.
"Well, You could say that!" I replied her with a innocent smile.
"I see, well how can I help you?" The lady shop assistant clasped her hands eagerly.
"I want to talk about a business deal." I answered, surveying the surrounding.
"Oh…" She looked at me in surprise but she quickly smiled and said, "If you want something made, you can speak directly to me."
It seemed she knows her stuff. Well it doesn't change the fact why I'm here.
"You might be unable to, and if possible, a short term collaboration." While speaking, I took out the design from my pocket. "Can you read this?"
That was the component design diagram for a Pistol. When I drew them, I carefully made all of the drawings, carefully measuring and calculating to be able to make them later. It wasn't something that anyone could recall.
The lady took the plans and gave them a puzzled look. Several complicated designs were drawn on the plans, and she couldn't even understand what this thing was without reading it.
With a shivering hands, she quickly sized me up.
"This..."
