Syfe City, Woodrow Kingdom.
"Mr. Ethan Asher, your A rank Adventurer Account has been updated. Thank you for your patience, and good luck on your adventures!"
At the front desk, an elf receptionist handed me my gold-colored adventurer's card.
Money earned from adventuring can be saved in my Adventurer ID, much like a bank account. If I need money, I can always go to the Adventurer's Guild or any Magic Academy nearby.
At least this world has my old world's system, and I'm just temporarily keeping my money here. I'll get all of my money back once I get into an academy. I don't trust the unrefined banks in this town world.
"Thank you!" I thanked her and took my ID back.
It's about time I went to the Holy Tree. Blue Grim already said about the third test already.
I walked out of the Adventurer's guild and started to head towards the Holy Tree.
"Hey See its Ethan Asher!"
"He is handsome little boy!"
"And Extraordinary!"
"It's a shame he's human!"
"Cool guys pisses me off!"
"He is a Kid!"
"But he has talent!"
The Adventurer's and the reception managing female Elves started as soon as I started walking out.
Huh! seems like my name became famous again. I've been putting up with this for the past two years.
The city thrived by taking advantage of the natural resources in the surrounding woodlands near its entrance. Only one word can describe the location of the Elven Territory, also known as the Woodrow Kingdom. The climatic conditions and buildings here are "profound."
believe it or not, there are not many humans or dwarves in this place. I'm still the only human here, thanks to the council of Assassin's backworks.
I still can't believe I'm seeing a whole race with pointed ears. Its all fantasies in my past life and old world after all.
Sighs
Thinking back, it was fun when I was a child.
It has already been four years. I'm eleven years old now If this December comes, I will be twelve, and I've risen to the position of A-ranked adventurer as a result of my efforts to raise my classification.
I would have arrived at Woodrow Kingdom sooner for my third test, but I wanted to strengthen my mana, body and skills first. As a result, I've remained on training.
When I wasn't on missions or exploring low-level dungeons, I was practicing by myself. I made it a point to meditate for at least a few hours before going to sleep. I broke through into the light orange stage over the last year, which I considered an accomplishment given how much time I had spent meditating.
My body was unquestionably the most improved at this time. Because I wasn't using mana, I had to take a step back and recall how to utilize my body and the new sword I bought efficiently, so that I could be even more effective when I reinforce myself.
I can't claim I'm at 100 percent strength because my limbs' physical reach and muscles aren't as developed as they were when I was an adult in my previous life, but I no longer felt awkward or restrained when I fought now. Some of my sword methods were fine-tuned to better fit my current body, which I'd need to develop along the way.
It wasn't an easy trip, and I had scars to prove it, even if it was only for a short time, but I knew it was worth it.
I now possess all four natural Elemental attributes along with Lightning and Ice. Although I can't employ more than three elements at the same time, I was able to draw out several useful skills.
While I went home a few times since the adventuring back to the hills near the Elven Mountains, and back to the dungeons had taken too long. So, when my parents agreed for the third time, we resorted to letters and meeting my parents at Adventurer's Guild at Atlas city on a regular basis.
Upon visiting them, my parents seemed lonely as Ron, Roy and even Alice had set out from our home. I haven't seen them in a long time; it would be great if we all ran into each other in the future. Aside from that, my older brother Rock, who left home before me, appears to have become a teacher at the Atlas Academy. Makes me wonder what a silent guy like him would be like as a teacher. It feels nostalgic, but hey, the future is the future, right?
Now, after completing the test of Patience of four years, the Council seems to have summoned me to the Holy Tree in this Woodrow Kingdom.
I can see the tree clearly from where I am. Because, believe it or not, the Holy Tree is a massive tree with a height of 490 feet and a width of 330 feet, with branches that cover the entire Woodrow Kingdom. Making it appear to be a sanctuary, perfect for calling it an Elven territory.
The base of the Tree is located in the heart of the kingdom. And according to the maps I've seen, Syfe city is located in the heart of this kingdom.
The Holy Tree, according to that, should be in this city as well.
...
It took an hour to get to the entrance. I managed to come here asking help from many of the elven people here.
Outside was a seemingly ordinary courtyard, but I was taken aback by the compound, which appeared to be quite luxurious.
Most people only turned to look at me, with somewhat surprised expressions, because I was a human with eye catching looks if I say myself.
But it's not like I don't expect something like this to happen.
I moved closer to the courtyard and looked at the two elven guards stationed outside the entrance, who were staring at me suspiciously.
Looking at them, "Hello, my name is Ethan Asher, and I have an appointment with sir Waylen Faelar..," I asked them nobly.
The two guards were taken aback when they heard my name. I'm guessing the top brass was informed about my arrival here.
Before entering the gates, one of them immediately nodded his head.
I waited for him, and after some time, he came out and politely said, "Master Waylen Faelar welcomes you. Please follow me!"
As I began to follow him inside, I smiled and nodded. I'm not sure who this Waylen Guy is, but he appears to be a powerful member of the council.
