That aside, I should ask him about my third Trail.
"Master Waylen, Can You tell me about my Third trail?" I asked him curiously.
Suddenly Waylen Faelar's face became serious. He hesitated at first, but he came out and said.
"Boy, I shouldn't reveal that, but since you are talented enough to block my mana, I will say it to you!" He said.
He took a deep breath and continued.
"Your Third and Final Trail is...The Holy Tree Combat!" he said.
Holy Tree Combat? What's that? sounds tough.
"What Should I do in that test Master?" I asked him.
"The Holy Tree Battle. It alludes to a battle to survive all the assassins who attack you as you climb to the top of the Tree!" He said.
Climbing the top? That tree is like a skyscraper, and based on my estimation, it should have more than seven or eight floors above ground, correct? If that isn't enough, assassins are coming after me to kill me until I reach the top?
I'm curious how the council is gaining so much power over this Holy Tree. Isn't that meant to be a monument in this Kingdom?
When I heard that, I began to sweat. Its actually pumps me up, and I'm up for it, but I think its too much for me at this stage to handle.
"What? Scared?" Master Waylen asked me with a sly smile.
"No!" I replied with a smile back.
After all, there are people who already took this test and became assassins before me, and one of them is the same age as me.
"Oh! Then good! but remember, if you die...you die. No one will come to save you!" He said.
Mm, That's interesting. Its not like I'm afraid of death.
"As expected…" I replied.
"Oh?"
Now that I've answered in this manner, it appears that Master Waylen has high expectations of me. I'm sure I'll succeed in not making him feel worthless of me. After all, I do have some tricks up my sleeve.
Suddenly, while master Waylen and I were chatting,
"Uncle!"
The door was gently pushed open as an elegant figure strolled in.
I turned my head to look behind, but as soon as I turned back, I was stunned.
Wearing a blue mask covering her lower face, the figure was a stunningly beautiful girl with a charming ambience and elegance. She had a pair of crystal blue eyes and a long, elegant silver flowing hair. Upon seeing her, I suddenly felt my heart racing. I don't know if this is because of my adolescence awakening, but I can't turn away as I wondered how would she look without her mask.
Although, she doesn't have pointed ears, so she isn't a elf I guess.
When she noticed me staring at her, her frigid yet beautiful face clearly gave off an aura of death.
Even after seeing me and my face, she is the only one I've seen, who does not soften or remove the barrier aura. So my charming appearances have no effect on her at all. She must be quite the assassin.
"Erhm!" As the girl walked beside me towards Master Waylen, Master Waylen gave me a signal.
I sat quietly and quickly turned to face master Waylen.
"Ms. Rogue Angel? How have you been?"
"I'm fine, Master!" She responded.
Rogue Angel? The assassin who master Waylen just mentioned? I wasn't expecting to meet her so soon.
Master Waylen looked at me and smiled.
"Blue Raven, ah! Allow me to introduce you two. This is the Rogue Angel I mentioned earlier. Rogue Angel, this is Blue Raven, the new kid who'll be taking the Third Trail!" Master Waylen stated proudly.
The Blue Raven? Well, he made a good moniker from both my father and my mentor. I like it though.

EVANA VALEN P.O.V:
My name is Evana Valen, my code name in the council of assassins is Rouge Angel.
Today, after my mission, I received notification that the council requires me to meet with someone. So, when I heard that person is in Uncle Waylen's office, I went there excitingly. Not because I had to meet a new person, but because I hadn't seen uncle in a long time.
I opened the door and walked in, however, that person was sitting with Uncle, chatting something. Hearing my voice, the person saw me and continued to stare at me. Its not that unusual so I just passed by him, however, the thing I suddenly felt was really weird.
He was Wearing a dull white attire above the black turtleneck long sleeve paired with black pants and boots, as well as a loose, pale, argyle shirt beneath a hooded, black jacket with grey markings across the sleeves.
He stood about 165 centimetres tall, just a head shorter than an adult. He was a handsome youngster with clear black eyes, black hair, and sharp facial features, which I barely managed to look away.
Upon seeing him, it was really awkward for me to feel that way. It was the first time I felt so vulnerable. What's up with this guy...he's...he's...freaking Cute.
Ca..Ca..Ca..Calm Down Rouge angel. You are an assassin. After Killing more than fifty men with good looks that not even made me feel any hesitation or vulnerability, Why would this guy make me feel this way. I won't. I can't.
Even though, after I went near Uncle, I can't think of anything but to stare at him. It appears that I am not alone in this regard. He too was continuously starring at me. Does he think I'm weird? Does he think I'm ugly? Should I take of my mask? Why do I have these irrational feelings?
"Hey, Do you Think I'm weird?" I inquired directly of him. That's better, right?
Uncle sighed as that boy looked totally perplexed. Does he not understand what I'm saying?
"Hey, boy! I asked you a question?" I asked him again with an intimidating tone. It's not like I could, I just...acted like that.
