Rowan jumped out of his bed also startling Onyx who was sleeping at his feet.
"Huh! Huh?" Onyx woke up, one of his eyes still closed.
They both snapped their necks towards the door, where they found the tiny people who worked in the stadium standing there with brooms and mops. Looking closer, Rowan noticed their frog-like eyes and bushy eyebrows.
'An owl/frog hybrid?' Rowan thought, rubbing his eyes.
"Get up! Croo." One spoke waddling into the room.
"Time," Rowan commanded.

"NO!" He yelled, running out of the bed. He threw away the covers taking onyx with them. Onyx slid down the side of the bed to the floor. He was now way smaller and could fit in the places he couldn't before.
Rowan ran around the room getting his stuff and running into the bathroom. He did his routine and ran out of the room to see the hybrids touching his stuff.
"Hey hey!" He walked forward quickly and snatched his cloak, hip belt, and weapons from them. He put them on and opened the door before a blast of cold wind hit him.
'Why's my neck so cold?' He thought, confused.
"ONYX!"
Rowan ran to his bed and looked under to find onyx stuck there, mad.
"Damn bro I'm sorry…" he said, reaching his hand in and grabbing Onyx by the tail. He yanked him out before the tiny people got mad at him and ran out of the room.
"OW, Ow, ow!" Rowan yelled as onyx bit his cheek. He was running in the direction of the cafeteria to grab something and leave the building.
"Why didn't you wake up!?" Onyx yelled, positioning himself in his favorite spot. "The first fight has probably already started!"
"Channel's!" Rowan spoke and all the channels showed up in front of him. He saw at the top it said 'mine'. He tapped there to find Talis's channel.

"Dang, only 23 viewers?" Rowan spoke, finally reaching the cafeteria.
"You've been asleep till now! I'm sure those viewers are only here for the other player!" Onyx spoke annoyed.
"Speaking of that…" Rowan started. "Talis didn't tell me he was contracted with another player." He grabbed a slice of bread and milk. "This is so annoying! Why only 23 viewers when he has 2,000 subscribers?"
"Dumbass! That's not how this works." Onyx yelled. "The 2,890 is Talis's popularity. His at the bottom of bottoms."
Rowan ran down the staircase and made his way around to the square and then left the building.
"Oh! Someone is in my chat!" he pointed out excitedly to onyx.
Stephensolos: the other dumbass is finally awake [skull]
"Aww yeah, I was sleeping for a while! Haha sorry about that!"
Stephensolos: Rowan Enzo…..YOU'RE A MAN?
TRCreader: exactly! Your face is too pretty.
"T-thank you?" Rowan said in a confused manner.
'I don't even know if they're complimenting me or not…' he thought as he walked out of the building and into the forest outside. From what he saw out of the windows, this facility had a forest section and a modern section that contained buildings, railings, and poles that were all made of metal. Over them was a huge barrier that shined in the sun.
Once he entered the forest he looked around for some good branches and seeds.
"OOH!" He yelled looking to the ground. "There's some good ones over there!"
He was going from side to side picking up all the sticks and branches he could find. It was easy to find branches and such, but finding good ones was harder than it seemed. Onyx had explained to him before that the best types to control are ones that are smooth and skinny. If they have such things as spikes and holes it's harder since you need more Ahi for a result that doesn't need all of it.
"Go over there. I see a good tree branch." Onyx spoke pointing to the side.
*BUMP*
"UWAH!"
As Rowan took a step forward he tripped over a tree root that was at the surface. Just like that, he fell face-first into the mud that was in front of him.
"BLAH BLAH TOOGH!" Rowan spat out all the disgusting things that entered his mouth as he quickly got up. He was now soiled and dirty, trying to wipe off as much mud as he could.
TRCreader: LMAO You just got in the forest dumbass [laughing]
Stephensolos: Bad luck follows you around or something?
TRCreader: Ewww it got in your mouth too [laughing X4]
"HAHAHAHA They're laughing at you!" Onyx said as he watched the chat.
"SHUT UP! And how are you not dirty!? You're literally on my neck!?" Rowan yelled back, grabbing the stick onyx was pointing to.
*BRRR!*
The ground suddenly started to shake, catching the dou off guard. After a couple seconds, it stopped as suddenly as it started.
"The hell was that?" Rowan was still wiping the mud off himself. Some of it seemed to have gotten into the holes of the straps. He was picking them out in an annoyed manner.
"Monsters maybe? I heard they're around here." onyx started looking around.
Stephensolos: yes the forest section of the competition is pretty known for having huge beasts. The mother beast is the biggest so stay out of her way. [shrug]
"Oh alright! Thanks for the Information bro." Rowan then sat down to exert sen.
TRCreader: You must be a newbie huh? So clueless about everything.
'At this point, he's going to be known as the clueless reincarnation...' onyx shook his head as Rowan did his thing. Once he was done he opened his eyes and jumped up.
"There's a waterfall over there! Let's go!" He quickly ran to the place he sensed the water at. "I can't stay in these clothes anymore!"
TRCreader: welcome to pax.
Stephensolos: how do you expect to live as a player if you can't even get dirty? [skull]
Stephensolos: plus you're an earth type!? [laughing]
"HEY! It's not like I can't get dirty, but there's a waterfall so why would I keep being dirty?" Rowan countered.
TRCreader: excuses
"IT'S THE TRUTH!"
"Even they agree you're too much." onyx joined in.
"You're all dirty motherfuckers." Rowan said with a disgusted face.
He jogged as fast as he could, using the weak Ahi he exhibited from his body.
*GRRRRAAA*
Another roar was heard, this time the ground shaking more violently. Rowan got down, hoping to not fall again.
Stephensolos: looks like you're close to the mother's cave.
TRCreader: don't die already!
"UWAHHH, AHHHHH H-HELP ME!"
Rowan and onyx heard desperate screams coming from the other side of them. Getting closer, Rowan ducked behind a bush and peeked out his head to see. A man was on the floor trying to crawl away from a huge beast that resembled a bear. The only differences were that it had deer horns and huge elephant-like teeth.
"That must be what they were talking about..." onyx whispered into Rowan's ear. They both watched the beast come into full view. It had a spear sticking out of its back and the right eye was stabbed. Rowan watched in silence as the man yelled and screamed.
TRCreader: damn are you gonna help him?
Stephensolos: This is a first.
Onyx watched as Rowan stared at the man and beast in front of him.
"Why should I step in?" Rowan spoke. "I recognized him from the beginning of the exam," He remembered the guy that he first slammed himself into when the competition began. "Looks like he tried gaining some type of popularity or something by killing the beast. This is his problem."
Stephensolos: I mean he's right...
TRCreader: yeah if he wants to be a dumbass then he can deal with the consequences alone [shrug]
"Plus he's lower than me, so it's not like I gain viewers or anything if I help him," Rowan said as he slowly crawled away from the two, making his way down a hill to follow the path of the waterfall.

Stephensolos: I like you, man. You're making it up there. All the heavenly beings will be watching you soon.
"Awww you're making me blush!" Rowan said bashfully.
TRCreader: HEY! This isn't fair! I'm broke!
"Just watching me is enough!"
"So many broke people. Hehehe" onyx spoke giggling.
"WHY ARE YOU ACTING LIKE YOU GOT MONEY?" Rowan yelled as onyx kept giggling. They were now a considerable amount away from where they watched the man and the beasts encounter. The waterfall was now only a few steps away.
"I was being watched," Rowan whispered to onyx. "Just then somebody was watching me."
"Did you sense their Ahi?" onyx asked.
"No. Just a feeling."
If there's anything Rowan learned from his life it was to trust his instincts. They were there for a reason and to be used. He was never wrong about his suspicions as well.
Finally, they reached the waterfall that Rowan sensed with his sen. It was a small one that connected to a stream, but still enough for Rowan to stand under.
"Ugh finally!" Rowan said in a sigh of relief. He took off his cloak and the things that had been in his belt. His cloak had been fine since he fell forward and not back. The armor on the other hand...
"Ugh..augh!"
Rowan struggled to take it off but just couldn't seem to get it off his body.
"Do you think it could be because of the system?" Onyx asked.
"Hello."
A voice suddenly boomed through Rowan's head.
"You know not to talk about that don't you?" Talis said using his telepathy. "I'm always watching~" and just like that he disappeared.
'Creep.' Rowan thought before giving up and getting into the waterfall with the armor.
Stephensolos: damn, it wouldn't come off?
TRCreader: maybe he did it too tight. I mean his physique is pretty toned. Especially his chest [smirk]
"I worked my ass off for a whole month. My muscles better show."
"They're lying man. You don't have shit on those arms." Onyx shrugged as Rowan glared at him. It was always a best friend's job to keep a man humbled.
They were right though. Rowan's chest-to-waist ratio was pretty big for he had strong and wide shoulders with a big chest. His arms and legs were very buff as well. They didn't compare to those of the others but they were okay. The only thing about him was that he had a tiny waist and a very VERY pretty face.
Once he got out of the waterfall he walked over to where his stuff was and flipped his wet hair. His black hair -which was kept in a ponytail the entire time- was now flowing freely. It soared through the air as water droplets flew off and onto his white face. His closed eyes and pretty features added to the scene as the sun shined off of the water, a rainbow searing over him.
Stephensolos: TF?
TRCreader: smash.
Stephensolos: ???
"THAT'S MY FACE YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT!" Onyx yelled at the chat.
Rowan tied up his hair while chuckling at the chat and onyx's bickering. He sat down on the rock he left his stuff at with an 'Ahh~' and pulled out his system.
'How should I activate the system....' Rowan thought. 'I can't speak. Maybe if I just say 'sin system' in my head...'
'DING!'
A huge screen popped out in front of him showing all the categories of sin.
'Woah! So that does work!' he thought as he clicked on pride as the others were locked.

"Alright, alright!" Rowan spoke as he pulled out the channels. He went on the first one that had 'Hot' under it and the hashtags,

He clicked on it to see that the first fight was already ongoing.
TRCreader: hehe hehe he's watching a stream on stream.
Stephensolos: .....you're dumb.
'Oh yes, the first fight was 7. Ikra VS 10. CZMT. How do you even say that? Cazmnt? C-Z-M-T?' Rowan thought, watching ikra run around in the ring while a young boy with black gloves and silver hair fired water balls at her.
It seemed like CZMT's power was from the element water. Apart from his gloves, he wore a black sweatshirt with a brown belt that had one pocket- opposite of Rowans which had many all around. He wore a dagger on the side as well with dark blue denim pants. This all made his white, shiny silver hair stand out, paired with the round glasses on his face.
Ikra on the other hand had brown hair with pink ends that were an inch shorter than her shoulders. She wore the same top as Sky but black and dark red pants. She had on a belt-like fabric over her chest that had a whole, perfect for her bat.
Rowan watched as CZMT threw more and more water balls. They were weak and he was obviously starting to run out of Ahi.
'Those attacks are too weak and won't do much damage though.' Rowan thought. 'It looks like he only knows one technique.'
"No wonder he is in 10th place." onyx spoke, saying what everyone was thinking.
Stephensolos: looks like the fight is still going. It's almost been an hour.
TRCreader: yea I got bored watching it so I came here.
CZMT threw a water ball toward Ikra's eyes as she tried to attack with her bat. It hit exactly where he wanted and CZMT Tried to run behind her but was grabbed by ikra.
*SNATCH*
Ikra snatched him back and grabbed his waist from behind. Then she picked him up and...
