Matilda's POV:
This was the first time I'd ever felt so good about a cold burger. Maybe it was because I was starving right now.
The beef burger might be a little cold, but the sauce and strong beef flavor kept my taste buds in check. Another sip of orange juice, and I was finally alive!
This was probably the fastest I'd ever eaten. I emptied my plate in a few mouthfuls. Baron was still eating his fries. I waved to the waiter and ordered myself another burger and an apple pie. It was the signature of the restaurant.
Baron raised an eyebrow and looked at me as if he didn't recognize me, but he didn't say anything and continued to eat slowly.
My food was quickly served, and the kind waitress gave me a glass of orange juice. She winked at me mischievously. "I hope you enjoy our food."
I really f*cking love this restaurant!
When I pushed the empty plate away, Baron straightened his body. He looked really surprised.
